Corinth can feel like a big place, so let’s make sure you find us on Saturday.

Follow along in this video: first, how to get to childcare, then how to walk from childcare to the Mitchell House Sunroom. The map at the end shows both. Childcare is circled in purple and the Mitchell House is circled in red.

Save this post so you have it Saturday morning. We can’t wait to welcome you to our first-ever Weekend Refresh. πŸ’›

Coming Wednesday? Here’s how to find us. Crystal walks you through the front lot, the side lot, and childcare drop-off, so you can walk into Bost Memorial Hall like you’ve done it a hundred times. 😊

And here’s a fun bonus: the same Crystal who shows you the way is our speaker this month! She’ll be sharing on Protecting Our Kids in a Digital World, with practical tools and real love for the hard conversations.

πŸ“ Bost Memorial Hall is circled in red on the map at the end of the video.
πŸ‘Ά Childcare is circled in purple.

One important note: for our preschool’s security, please walk around the outside of the building from childcare rather than cutting through. Crystal shows you exactly where in the video.

Save this post so you have it Wednesday morning.

Two days away, mama.

This Wednesday, Crystal Wimbish is joining us for Protecting Our Kids in a Digital World, and if you've ever wondered what you should be checking on your kid's phone or how to start the hard conversations, this one is for you.

You'll walk away with practical tools you can use that same day. And you won't be doing it alone. You'll be in a room full of moms who are figuring it out right alongside you.

"Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. And do everything in love." β€” 1 Corinthians 16:13–14

Know a mom who needs this one? Bring her. There's a seat for her too. πŸ’›

Is it okay to have "shaky knees"? Laura Sigmon Parker thinks so, and she's going to tell us why. Hear a little from her here, then join us for our first-ever Weekend Refresh.

Women get pulled in a dozen directions at once, and it's easy to drift from the very source of our strength. Laura's message on Standing Firm in Your Calling will show you it doesn't have to be complicated: know your calling, know your foundation, know your sources of stability.

"She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come." β€” Proverbs 31:25

Meet Lori!

She's there setting up the room the day before every single gathering, and come morning, you'll find her at the welcome table with a friendly smile β€” making sure every mom who walks in gets signed in, gets a name tag, and feels like she belongs before she even finds her seat.

It's the small things that make Refresh feel like home, mama. Lori is one of the reasons it does. Next time you're at the welcome table, make sure to say hi! πŸ‘‹

Thank you for everything you do, Lori.

Refresh is for every mom, in every season.

To the mama with a newborn on her hip. To the mama chasing a toddler who just learned to run. To the mama navigating middle school drama. To the mama waving her teenager off to practice, or her college kid off to campus. To the mama whose house is quieter now than it's ever been.

"Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. And do everything in love." β€” 1 Corinthians 16:13–14

Standing firm looks different in every season β€” but there's a seat for you in every single one of them. Which season are you in right now? Drop it below.

Meet Laura Sigmon Parker 🎀

Raised in the Appalachian Mountains of Eastern Kentucky with her parents and five siblings, Laura grew up gardening, hiking, and riding horses β€” learning early to recognize God's handiwork in His creation. One of the first verses she ever memorized:

"I will lift mine eyes to the hills β€” from whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth." β€” Psalm 121:1–2

Laura moved to Newton in 1989 with her husband Bill and their three children, where she's spent her career as a hospitalist nurse practitioner. Now contemplating retirement, she's looking forward to pouring the love of God into her 9 grandchildren β€” and she serves as chair-elect to the Elder board at Corinth.

At our first-ever Weekend Refresh on October 24, Laura is bringing a message on Standing Firm in Your Calling. As women, we're pulled in a dozen directions at once trying to meet everyone else's needs β€” so how do we keep from being pulled away from our source of strength altogether? Laura will walk us through three simple truths: know your calling, know your foundation, know your sources of stability.

Missed it live, or just want to hear it again? 🎧

Van Walton's message from our September Refresh β€” Anchoring Your Home in God's Truth β€” is now up on the podcast.

In this episode, you'll hear Van walk through what it really means to anchor your home: teaching your kids who Jesus is before anything else, having the courage to show them the Bible is true (yes, even the Dead Sea Scrolls make an appearance), and the picture of passing your "baton of faith" on to the next generation.

Perfect for your drive, your folding-laundry time, or your walk.
