Pray for Sis. Freda and the Freret family.

BEAMS Family,

We ask that you please pray for the family of our President Emeritus, Dr. René Freret, who went home to be with the Lord this morning, July 31, 2026.

While our hearts are heavy for Sis. Freret and the family, we rejoice in the assurance that Dr. Freret is now in the presence of his Savior. Since 1965, he faithfully preached the Word of God and had a genuine passion for sharing the Gospel with everyone he met.

God used Dr. and Mrs. Freret to resurrect the BEAMS ministry and faithfully lead it for 24 years. Even after stepping down as Director, Dr. Freret remained actively involved in promoting the ministry he loved. His faithful service, godly influence, words of encouragement, and fervent prayers have left an enduring impact on countless lives and will be deeply missed.

Funeral arrangements are being finalized and will be announced next week. There will be a service in Pennsylvania and another in Gulfport, Mississippi. As details become available, they will be posted on the BEAMS page.

Please remember Sis. Freret, their family, and all who loved Dr. Freret in your prayers during the days ahead.

Our Vacation Bible School begins tomorrow evening! 🍀 If you’re thinking about joining us (& we sure hope you are 😉), please consider pre-registering your kids!

Pre-registration will end tonight at midnight & we will start registering kids & starting checkin tomorrow evening at 5:15pm at the front of our sanctuary.

Mealtime will be from 5:30-6:00pm with our opening assembly starting at 6:00pm.
