Christ's Church Of The Foothills All people are children of God and loved by him. Christ's Church of the Foothills is a Christ centered interdenominational church founded in 1990.

We at Christ's Church Of The Foothills believe that ALL people are our neighbors, and welcome ALL people who have the need to worship God. Formally known as Metropolitan Community Church in Hickory, Christ's Church of the Foothills became the charter church in the International Christian Community Church denomination in 2003. We observe the sacraments of Baptism, Holy Communion, and Ordination. Th

e Rites of the church include: Rite of becoming a member, Rite of Holy Union or Holy Matrimony, Rite of Funeral or Memorial Service, Rite of laying on of hands or prayer for healing of the sick in mind, body or spirit, Rite of Blessing and Rite of Installation of Clergy or Lay Pastors. Our faith is based upon the principles outlined in the Apostles and Nicene Creeds. We also recognize that the revelation of God and God's grace continue to be ongoing. ALL ARE WELCOME AND WE ARE LGBTQI+ FRIENDLY. The mission of Christ's Church of the Foothills, according to the Word of God, is to share the Good News of God's Love and Forgiveness with all we meet, not limiting ourselves to the building in which we worship, but becoming a church without walls.

Saturday, May 2nd @ Abundant Grace. There is a fundraisers for St Jude repairs. Begins at 6:30. Pastor David’s famous sauce & meatballs) with a Caesar salad and cheesecake for dessert. Cost is $10. Let us remember how they’ve helped us in the past and show them some of our generosity and love!
