242 Community Church

2|42 Community Church exists to be made alive in Christ, together in community, all for the sake of the Gospel.

In the book of Acts 2:42-47, the early church was committed to three things:
1) Committed to the teachings of Jesus.
2) Committed to community.
3) Committed to serving. As a church, we want to model ourselves after the Acts 2:42 church. We are successful when we testify to the Gospel, when we are united in heart and mind, and when we are generous and joyful.

Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom.

May we carry grateful hearts, pray for the families who carry their legacy, and thank God for the freedoms we have.

SERMON SERIES | TRUST
Jesus was never in a hurry trying everywhere, at all times, for all peoples. He lived a calm and relaxing life, trusting in His Father. As followers of Jesus, could that be said of us? It is easy trying to be “like-god” trying to be everywhere, at all times, for all peoples. That is not the way of Jesus. Jesus lived a life of trust in God—trusting in the One who knows everything and was not worried about one thing.
