1️⃣ thing Pastor Barbara, Corinth’s Visitation Pastor, wishes people knew about Corinth.

After a career as an ergonomist for a national laboratory and private industry, Barbara was called to Christian ministry. She has been a chaplain for hospitals and industry, a ministry director at churches, and an ordained pastor. Barbara has lived in Hickory for 3 years and joined the staff at Corinth in 2023. She has never married and lives with her twin sister, Beverly Bell, and their 2 cats. She loves Psalm 37:4, which reads: “Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”

1️⃣ thing Pastor Nick, Corinth’s Senior Pastor, wishes people knew about Corinth.

Nick is an ordained pastor as well as a published author and professor of the New Testament. Before coming to Corinth, he served for five years as the president of Trinity International University, including Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He and his wife, Camie, have been married since 1992 and have two grown sons. Together, they love music, gardening, and travel. One of Nick’s favorite passages of scripture is Galatians 2:20, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

Meet our third Extending Hope speaker, Fil Anderson! In his talk, Extending Hope When Faith is Running on Empty, Fil will share his own journey from burnout and performance-driven faith to a life rooted in intimacy with God. Join us at Corinth Reformed Church on November 5 at 6:30pm in Bost Memorial Hall for Fil’s talk.

1️⃣ thing Pastor Amy, Corinth’s Executive Pastor, wishes people knew about Corinth.

Though you’ll often see her leading in worship or missions, Amy also works behind-the-scenes with our Board of Deacons and Board of Property Management, along with supervising most of our support staff. Amy is married to Josh, and they have the privilege of parenting the coolest twins ever, and the sweetest baby in the world. One of her favorite passages of scripture is Colossians 3:15, “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.”
