💛 Pastor Appreciation Day is THIS Sunday!

This year, we’re excited to celebrate our four pastors and their families who give so much of their time, energy, and hearts to serving our church!

We’re so thankful for all they do, not only for our church, but for the people they serve week after week. Ministry takes a lot of time and sacrifice, and their families make sacrifices right alongside them. Behind every pastor is a family who supports them, shares them with the church, and serves alongside them in so many ways. We’re grateful for each of them and all they pour into our church family.

If you’d like to, bring a card this Sunday or simply take a moment to send them a text and let them know how much you appreciate them and all they do. Sometimes a simple word of encouragement can mean so much! ❤️

We want each of them and their families to feel loved, appreciated, and celebrated this Sunday! 💛

🕯️ Ladies, come hang out with us this Saturday!

We’re having a Ladies Candle Making Event from 11 AM–1 PM, and we’d love for you to join us!

It’ll be a fun morning of making your own candle, enjoying some good food, and spending time together. 🫶🏼

Please RSVP to Olivia by Thursday so she can make sure we have enough supplies for everyone! Once you RSVP, Olivia will send you the address to Wendi’s house in Hickory where we’ll be making the candles 🥰

Yesterday was such a special day at Sy Church as we celebrated the ordination of Pastor Matt and Pastor Miranda! 👏🏽🙌🏼

We’ve watched them grow, serve, lead, and continue to say yes to what God has called them to. As they have faithfully worked to complete everything for their ordination, we are so excited to see how God continues to use each of them in their unique gifts and callings.

We are incredibly proud of you both, Matt & Miranda! We love you and we’re so thankful we get to do ministry alongside you.❤️❤️

🔥 REMINDER! PART II OF OUR HELL SERIES STARTS TONIGHT AT 6:30! 🔥

We know school is starting back, so we want to be mindful of everyone’s time and are starting a little earlier this week at 6:30 PM!

🍕 Pizza will be here by 6:15 PM, so grab a slice, find your seat, and get ready!

Our Back to School in Style event was such a beautiful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together to love and serve others.🙌🏼

We want to say a huge THANK YOU to every person who made this day possible - to those who donated and helped purchase backpacks and shoes, helped pack backpacks, everyone who spent the day serving, and everyone who helped set up and tear down the sanctuary. It took a village and we are so grateful for every single person who played a part! Almost 450 backpacks and over 450 pairs of shoes went out to kids in our community thanks to YOU!!

Our favorite part was seeing the smiles on the kids’ faces with their new pair of shoes and fresh haircut! 🥹❤️

Our hope is that every child walked out feeling loved, encouraged, and just a little more confident as they head into a new school year.🩷

Thank you to everyone who helped us make this day so special. We love our community, and we can’t wait to do it again! 🫶🏽
