I don’t do this often on social media, but I just wanted to personally and publicly thank the Lord for His goodness and for the help given at church today! While no one got saved that we know of, no records were set, no red letter day to speak of…the Lord helped me! The dreaded disease of discouragement can often overwhelm, the continual battle of spirit verse flesh that is fought can be heavy, the constant inconsistency and indifference found in man can get weary… but the Lord! The Lord reminded me of how blessed we are in Him, and to simply be a part of His great work! I seen this morning what I literally get to see every Sunday; I seen people come faithfully, I seen others around me testify, I sang and worshipped with God’s people, I had the privilege to give to the work of God, I got to pray with people that are growing in God, and I got to open God’s Word and actually here from God!
What a day that is so many times taken for granted! Thank you Jesus!
