We got to enjoy about three hours of the festival before it ended up getting rained out, and we had to pack up and head home.

But we are very thankful for everyone who came out to participate and sit underneath the tent with us, and for everyone who stopped by to talk and share their prayer requests. It was a blessing to meet so many people and have the opportunity to pray with them.

We are looking forward to doing this again sometime in the near future! 🙏

We are set up here in Hildebran at the Royal Parks Festival with our prayer tent! If you have anything you need prayer about, come by and see us. We would love to sit down and pray with you about it.

We are also passing out free bottles of water, bookmarks, and fruity snacks!

As we head into Easter weekend, remember the symbolism of the dogwood tree, which can be seen blooming across our state. 🌸

Legend states that the dogwood tree symbolizes the death and resurrection of Jesus in many ways. First, the bracts (aka petals) form a cross shape with indentions on the ends, representing the cross and the nails that pierced Jesus' hands. Second, the red marks on the end of the petals symbolize Jesus' blood that was shed. Finally, the tight grouping in the center of the flowers represents the crown of thorns.

No matter how you celebrate Easter this weekend, be sure to look around and enjoy the beauty of these flowers!
