This year’s Galentine’s Brunch filled the room with our amazing Thousand Hills ladies, friends and family!
The mix of pastel pinks, greens, blues, purples, gold, vibrant reds and a whimsical candy theme, set the atmosphere for a perfect brunch for our Galentine friends!
The opening skit shared bits of humor (played by Jena Walter and Gina Harrison) and a great reminder, from the Holy Spirit (played by Rachelle Garland), of how much God loves to spend time with us!
Janet DeBoef (our Connections Director) delivered an incredible message on self-control, growing in our fruit and how that reflection impacts loving others.
The Love and honor for each other was overflowing in the room and was evident as you looked across the room to witness the smiles, laughter, hugs, joy and standing applause for our wonderful Lindsey Chambers! Thank you for loving our women so well.

Some of our Thousand Hills ladies attended the North Texas District BLOOM Conference this weekend, and what a beautiful time it was! 🌸

A weekend filled with worship, laughter, and powerful reminders of God’s unshakable love for us. The theme “How Much More” captured it perfectly, reminding us that no matter what we face, His love always exceeds our expectations and our understanding.

We came home refreshed, inspired, and blooming in faith! 💕

I know so many of our hearts feel crushed right now. Still heavy after the devastating floods in Texas including into Mystic camp. As a mom, I’ve cried and prayed with a grief I can’t quite put into words. My heart aches for the families, the children, and the heartbreak we can’t fix.

And I know I’m not the only one wrestling with the why.
Why did this happen
Why them
Why now

But even in our questions, we are not alone. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and in seasons like this, we’re reminded just how much we need to hold on to Him. Not for answers, but for His presence. For peace. For the strength to keep showing up and loving well.

If you’re struggling to pray, I get it. So let’s start simple.
Pray for comfort for every hurting family
Pray for the church to be a shelter, physically and spiritually
Pray that our hearts stay soft, not bitter. Broken, not hardened
Pray that God redeems every ounce of this pain in ways we can’t yet see

You’re not alone in this. And if all you can do today is sit with the Lord and say, “Help,” He hears that too.

Let’s lean in. Let’s weep together. And let’s believe, even in the ache, that God is still good.

Love you, sisters. Holding your hearts close today.
