Last Sunday was a gift to our church.

We opened God’s Word to Philippians 4:4-7 and were reminded that real peace isn’t something we find within our own understanding. It’s something we receive from the Lord who is at hand! In the middle of real fears and anxieties, He is always there.

Then, five people stepped into the water and publicly declared that their hope is in Jesus. Each person's story was different. Each one marked by grace. Sin forgiven. New life given. And a Savior who is united to them forever.

There’s something powerful about watching baptism in a small, growing church. It reminds us why church planting matters. These aren’t just numbers or milestones. These are people. Neighbors. Families. Lives that are being changed by the gospel.

We believe God has not forgotten small towns. We believe He is still saving, still restoring, still building His church. And we’re grateful to be part of it.

🌟 What a Week in Hickman! 🌟

This past week, we saw God’s grace at work through VBS and our Party in the Park—living out our mission to embrace the city of Hickman with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

🕵️‍♀️At "Super Sleuths" VBS, 29 kids learned from Luke 15 that God seeks the lost, rejoices when they’re found, and welcomes them home through Jesus.

🎉 On Thursday, over 150 people joined us for an evening of snow cones, bounce houses, a petting farm, and—best of all—gospel conversations and new connections in our community.

🙌 Huge thanks to our Redemption Hill volunteers for your joy, creativity, and tireless love for people. We’re also thankful for Church Forward for funding the events and Community Southern’s missions team for helping with setup and teardown.

Let’s keep loving, serving, and welcoming others as we’ve been welcomed in Christ!

Redemption Hill Kids focused on answering this question today by looking at the story of Ruth. How beautiful that God not only cares for us in our daily needs, but provides the ultimate need of salvation through His son, Jesus Christ.

We absolutely love our time discovering God’s truth on Sunday mornings. 🤍
