Join us THIS WEDNESDAY, April 20th for our Easter celebration... Breakout style! Dinner will be served beginning at 5:30pm, so plan to stay when you come to pick up your kiddos! Throwback to the last Wednesday we met together! We had several special guests come to help us learn about prayer. The kiddos were challenged to listen to how each leader prayed a little bit differently. God made us uniquely and our prayers may sound different too! Thank you to each of our guests!!

Pastor Dan Norwood of First United Methodist Church of Hiawatha shared how to be THANKFUL in our prayers.

Middle School Leader Fonda LaFrenz talked about how our prayers can include ASKing God for help with ourselves and others around us.

Pastor James Callaway of First Baptist Church of Hiawatha showed kids a world map and talked about MISSIONS and how we can pray for other countries.

Our Group Games Leader Rachel Shaefer taught the kids about CONFESSION. When we confess our sins, God is ready and quick to forgive!

Pastor Shane Spangler of Bethany United Church of Christ of Hiawatha encouraged kids to LISTEN during prayer. God speaks to us when we are quiet in prayer.

Thanks for joining us ON LOCATION at the library! We had a great time yesterday! I missed getting pictures of the other activities 😕 The library was ready for our Breakout group with musical instruments and videos in the back room, musical color sheets by the gazebo, and Miss Susan with exciting pop up books and crafts! Have you figured out what March's new theme will be???
