….and the fun begins

Yes, we’re already elbow-deep in the beginning stages of Fall Festival planning and we need help!

We’re looking for tech-abled helpers for all sorts of fun stuff. Prior knowledge not necessary, happy to walk you through anything you don’t know. With 2-3 more volunteers, this can be knocked out pretty quickly!

Sometimes the most important person isn’t the one you notice first.

I snapped this picture during worship this morning, and our pastor is completely hidden behind the lead singer as he played the drums. You’d never know he was there just by looking at the photo—but you could certainly hear the difference he was making.

It reminded me of God.

There are seasons when we don’t see Him working. We wonder where He is or why He’s quiet. But just because we can’t see Him doesn’t mean He isn’t faithfully holding everything together, keeping perfect time, and working behind the scenes for our good.

“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” — Hebrews 11:1

Even when He’s unseen, He’s never absent.

6/8 UPDATE: due to unforeseen circumstances, Spandex and the Spirit is cancelled. The Pigman race is still on and volunteers are still needed there. We will announce our next Church in the Wild date and location in the near future!

Pigman Triathlon takes place the morning of Sunday, June 14, 2026 at Pleasant Creek State Recreation Area in Palo.

Our beloved Pastor Randy Goodson will be competing in the event and New Beginnings Church will be onsite volunteering in various aspects of the event.

THEN... we will have church!
