After a dangerous 12-hour journey and a few vehicle breakdowns, the team arrived safely to host shoebox outreach events in a sensitive, hard-to-reach area in West Africa.

Hundreds of children attended the events, many hearing the Gospel for the very first time! Local ministry partners were amazed by the overwhelming response to receive Jesus Christ. 🙌

Our team has returned home safely and shared that none of this would have been possible without prayer!

TODAY: THE 23RD OF SIVAN: MORDECHAI GETS THE GREEN LIGHT!

Today is the 23rd day of the Hebrew month of Sivan. What occurred on this day, as recorded in the book of Esther?

“So the king’s scribes were summoned at that time, on the twenty-third day of the third month, that is, the month of Sivan; and letters were written, at Mordecai’s dictation, to the Jews and to the satraps, the governors and the officials of the one hundred and twenty-seven provinces from India to Cush: to every province in its own script and to every people in its own language, and to the Jews in their own script and language. He had them written in the name of King Ahasuerus and sealed with the king’s signet. Letters were dispatched by mounted couriers, riding steeds used in the king’s service, bred of the royal stud, to this effect: The king has permitted the Jews of every city to assemble and fight for their lives; if any people or province attacks them, they may destroy, massacre, and exterminate its armed force together with women and children, and plunder their possessions—on a single day in all the provinces of King Ahasuerus, namely, on the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, that is, the month of Adar." (Esther 8:9-12)

Reminder: Ancient Persia is today modern Iran. Last night Iran broke a ceasefire and has been firing missiles into Israel. Israel is responding with missiles of its own, destroying Iranian military and industrial infrastructure.

Did President Trump talk to Prime Minister Netanyahu last night and tell him not to retaliate? Or is that fake news? Or are Trump and Netanyahu once again acting to deceive the Iranian jihadi regime? Or did Natnayahu simply defy President Trump, placing Israel's security above all?

We may not know for sure until, one day, a new book of Esther is written, describing G-d's salvation of Israel that we are currently living through.
