Congregation Ohr Torah - North Woodmere Jewish Center Ohr Torah was founded in 1963 as the first Orthodox Ashkenazic Synagogue in North Woodmere. Every Shabbos we have an elaborate kiddush.

Our founding Rabbi and Rebbetzin, Rabbi and Rebbetzin Jungreis, created a welcoming environment, so much so that we became known as the Mishpacha Shul. We have daily, Shabbos, and holiday minyanim in both the Ashkenazic and Sephardic traditions. And best of all, there is no building fund!
