It's with heavy hearts that we share the loss of our dream shop. We moved in 18 months ago and worked tirelessly to make it efficient and ready to serve our great customers.
Christ's dad, Christ I. Stang, sparked Christ's interest in mechanic work at a very young age. It has meant so much to us to build this business and honor his late father. It's crazy that the shop took it's last breath the evening of Father's Day.
We are truly humbled by the support of our customers, friends, and our great community. We had pie, rolls, fruit, and Gatorade delivered early Monday morning. We appreciated Jackie Christman, President of Hettinger Chamber, stopping in Monday morning for moral support. The in-person visits, texts and phone calls offering help, storage space, shop rental, and prayer has been overwhelming. We live in God's country!
We were making phone calls to our insurance agent when "the crew" started showing up... their hands were gloved, carrying a lunch cooler in one hand and a hand saw in the other. Equipment was unloaded and truck with trailer was in place. Within hours the cleanup began. Todd Christman, Dan Christman, Mark Hudak and Bob K. (sorry, I can't say his last name let alone spell it!) were here for three long days working to get property in storage and everything cleaned up. JC Farm had rain so brought their employees in for a day to assist.
Troy and Becki Nickels have been our solid supporters, physically and spiritually.
Todd Christman, JC Farms, and Valle Grande Ranch have supplied equipment for the task of clearing debris and cleanup. We thank you all for your generosity!
Once the dust settles, or should I say blow-in insulation settles, we will take a breather and determine where we go from here.
Our hydraulic container is still operational and is up and running again to build hoses!
We want to thank our wonderful community and surrounding areas for all the love and support given to us this week. We are so thankful no one was injured from this storm.
God Bless,
Christ and Ronda
Edit: We also want to thank Curt Drolc from Drolc Electric for the quick response to the site and for redirecting power to the hydraulic container to keep the hydraulic side of the business up and running. Thanks Curt!!
