ORDER OF MORNING WORSHIP
June 7, 2026 2nd Sunday afterPentecost

Prelude: “Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee”
Welcome – Announcements

Call to Worship: Psalm 95 & 96 (congregation read all bold )
Leader: O come let us sing to the Lord
Let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!
Let us come into His presence with thanksgiving
Let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!
For the Lord is a great God.
And a great King above all gods
In his hands are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also
The sea is his, for he made it; for his hands formed the dry land.
O Come let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord our maker.
For he is our God and we ae the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his land.
O sing to the Lord a new song;
Sing to the Lord, all the earth!
Sing to the Lord, bless his name;
Tell of his salvation day to day.
Declare his glory among the nations,
His marvelous works among all people;
For great is the Lord and greatly praised;
He is feared above all gods.
For all the gods of the peoples are idols;
But the Lord made the heavens
Honor and majesty are before him
Strength and beauty are his sanctuary.
Ascribe to the Lord, O families of the peoples,
Ascribe to the Lord ,glory and Strength!
Ascribe to the Lord due his name;
Bring an offering, come into his courts
Worship the Lord in holy array;
Tremble before him, all the earth!
Say among the nations, “The Lord Reigns
Yea the world is established, it shall never be moved, he will judge the people with equity.”
Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice;
Let the sea roar, and all that fills it;
Let the field exult, and everything in it!
Then shall all the trees of the wood sing for joy before the Lord,
For he comes to judge the earth.
He will judge the world with righteousness and the peoples with truth.

Joys and Concerns Pastoral Prayer
The Lord’s Prayer (in unison): Our Father (debts/debtors)

Affirmation of Faith:
All: We hold that what God says to us and does for us centers in Jesus Christ, our living Lord as he is remembered, known, and expected. In Christ, God’s Word of acceptance takes flesh: by grace through faith we are set right with God, adopted as children of God, not because of anything we have done, but because of what Christ has done. In Christ, God’s Word of demand is lived out: to love God and neighbor as Jesus did is what God requires of us. The Spirit adds no different Word from God, but leads us deeper into the truth of God uttered in Jesus Christ

Offering Plate is at the rear of the Sanctuary: Doxology
*Prayer of Dedication
Leader: Holy God, we offer our gifts today and every day, trusting in your promises to heal, reconcile and bring justice and peace. May all that we offer be transformed into signs of your love and acts of your mercy. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen

Michael

Oh, its just a quick trip to the Grocery or one of the Dollar stores for a can of corn, or some fresh vegetables.
How wonderful we human beings have it to access food. !!!! I wonder what food Christ and the disciples had to eat at the "last supper"..

Nobody expected the huge snow fall we had last winter 2026. I remember Joe Schenaby of channel 7-8 saying maybe 2-4" of new snow. And saying to Jill, I am going to the grocery for a few things....I am always thinking about the COVID shortages, and the ability to buy.

I am also always think about our animal friends, both large and small.
Before "winter" I buy 10, 50 # bags of new corn and store it in the trunk, along with Oilled sun-flower seeds for the front porch.

The tracker supply front gals have started to say, afternoon Mr Stoll..same order ?...amazing with my sore foot, they get it from the piles in the store and then put it in my trunk !!..what A wonderful service..most generally performed by Gals !! ( At a couple 10" of snow I had 15-20 deer, which looked quite good, considering.)

Move ahead to 70 degree days recently, I put-out one last sack on the ground, expecting 5-6 deer...None, None..so where have they gone ?? (far North where trees have new leaf buds).
My pile of corn seemed untouched...well, what came down the driveway, but a new little fawn who was forming his male antlers..about 3" inches...had his corn snack and went on, trying to be a male buck..!!

Michael

Boats, Boats, Boats...before there were humans, there we boats...haha.
There is a wonderful book to revive the imagination of your grandchildren as they are about to enter the world of Boats in the LES CHENEAUX. As the little fellow in a small canoe finds water ports.

Some guy I know, ME, has way too many boats, to provide the ultimate care. I would like my "Woodie" boats to maintain.

Well, thanks Dad, Bradly Up ham, Gus Alexander, Montgomery Wards and one old Aluminum "thing". Dad taught me the proper way to get the outboard motor ready for Winter. It is amazing that I experienced Dad carrying all three of the outboard motors to the cottage..and not near the boathouse...Today it would not be done that way. Dad had a very bad heart.

When Goose and Jack Ostate, built our boathouse, I had them make it possible to store 2 main boats, The Tiger Lilly, and the little Sea King. @ 2,100 # the Tiger gets the center well and the use of two 4,000 # Lift electric hoist.
I usta put 3 long Cedar logs under the boat for the wind stabilization, but today, I use three long "trucker's straps".

As with all winterized motors, water is drained, and then started to blow out the water jackets. Then its a bag of mouth balls to keep the animals out.

Time for a long winter's night...Michael

Michael

This is Pentecost Sunday, where the Lord told Jesus who had arisen, to save us from our sins, that if we would just declare our love for him, our sins would be forgiven.

I wonder if that concept would work for a business ?? (Do businesses have sins...humm?).

In Bristol, Indiana, I and 25 wonderful employees manufactured 3,500 reel to reel analogue and then digital "911" style Voice Loggers, for security, police and fire Depts, etc. They went all over the world, Egypt, Asia, and the USA.

On the price Quotation for the machine, I offered a 10 % discount if the purchaser would write a reference letter about their use of the machine, quality, etc.

Of course the discount was taken and I received 5 letter about the RPT voice logger. Most gave an excellent review and asking the reader if they had questions to call the author of the letter..one was really cute...In pencil, big script "great"...Jim (BY THE POST MARK, I KNEW WHO Jim WAS !)

So how many lunches have you purchases for those (yeses) ?...We all have had an Opportunity to say to someone: "Can I pick you up this Sunday, for Church and a free lunch ?
