April 2026

The Bible says in Matthew 28:1-7, “In the end of the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week [Sunday], Mary Magdalene came and the other Mary to see the sepulcher [Jesus’ Tomb]. And there was a great earthquake: for the Angel of the Lord descended from Heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it. His countenance [facial appearance] was like lightning, and his raiment [garment] white as snow. And for fear of him the keepers shook, and became as dead men. And the Angel answered and said to the women, “Fear not, for I know that you seek Jesus, Who was crucified. He is not here: for He has risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord was laid. And go quickly, and tell His disciples that He has risen from the dead; and He goes before you into Galilee; there shall you see Him, I have told you.”

This is the time of year when we celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
This season is and should be one of the most joyous festivals that the Church celebrates. The Resurrection meant new life for Jesus and for all Believers. Along with new life, we have received blessings He purchased for us at Calvary. I want to give to you five blessings that now belong to us through Jesus. The first blessing is “pardon.” Jesus’ Resurrection seals our pardon.

The Apostle Paul tells us in Romans 4:25, “[He Jesus] Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.”

Because Jesus paid the price for our redemption and took our place, God can now offer us a full and complete pardon. What does “pardon” mean? A pardon is a legal document setting a person free from punishment. It also wipes out a record of past deeds. It’s as though they never happened. We should have to pay for our misdeeds. Instead, Jesus took our sins and the punishment for those sins upon Himself at the Cross. As a result, the Heavenly Father can offer us a pardon and wipe out our misdeeds, our sins, and our past as though they never existed. The devil may try to haunt you with visions from your past. But as far as God is concerned, if you’ve accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, you have been pardoned, and your slate has been wiped clean.

The second blessing Jesus gave us is “peace.” If you have ever lived without peace, you know that peace is a great blessing. And the Resurrection guarantees that you can have peace.

Jesus said in John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you: not as the world gives, I give I to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” Then in John 20:19, He tells us more about this peace. “Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week [Sunday], when the doors were shut where the Disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be unto you.”

One of the last things Jesus said to His Disciples before His death was, “Peace I leave with you.” And the first thing He told them after His Resurrection was, “Peace be with you.” Jesus is our Prince of Peace, and He is not buried in a tomb in Jerusalem. The Prince of Peace is alive and well. And because He is, we have peace.

The third blessing Jesus gave us through the Resurrection is “purity.” The person who has received God’s pardon from sin by accepting Jesus Christ as Savior now needs purity. Through Jesus, we receive pardon for the past, peace for today, and purity for life in the future. Because of the Resurrection, a pardoned sinner can now live a life to God.

In Romans 6:18-22 Paul says, “Being then made free from sin, you became the servants of righteousness. I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as you have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity to iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness to Holiness. For when you were the servants of sin, you were free from righteousness. What fruit had you then in those things whereof you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, you have your fruit to Holiness, and the end everlasting life.”

Because of the purity imparted to us in Christ, we can live free from sin with fruit to Holiness. Regardless of your past, when you accepted Jesus, you were pardoned, and your past was wiped out. Once you were pardoned, you were given peace. So don’t let your past hinder you anymore. When you were pardoned by God through the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, you were also given purity. Don’t ever say you are unholy. Instead, say, “I am pure and Holy because of the Blood of Jesus.” The fourth blessing of Jesus’ Resurrection is “power.”

In Philippians 3:10 Paul says, “That I may know Him, and the power of His Resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable to His death.” Romans 8:11 says “the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead shall quicken our mortal bodies.” Many Christians believe Christ gives us power only for spiritual things. But because of the Resurrection, we also have power through the Holy Spirit to quicken (build up and strengthen) our bodies. We have power at our disposal that we often don’t think to use.

Then Paul says in Ephesians 1:19–20, “And what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, Which he wrought [worked] in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His Own right hand in the Heavenly places.”

According to this passage of Scripture, the exceeding greatness of God’s power is toward us who believe. We have power because of the Resurrection! Jesus said in Luke 10:19, ‘Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, that nothing by any means shall hurt you!” A fifth blessing of Christ’s Resurrection is “His Presence.” One of the greatest personal blessings of the Resurrection is the promise of God’s presence.

In Hebrews 13:5, the Bible says, “Let your conversation [behavior] be without covetousness; and be content with such things as you have: for He has said, “I will never leave you, nor forsake you.” The Lord has promised to never leave us nor forsake us. You can be all by yourself with no one else around for miles. Yet, you’re not alone. God’s presence is with you wherever you are. Even when you’re asleep, He’s there. When you’re eating, driving, working—wherever you are and whatever you’re doing, He’s there.

Jesus said in Matthew 28:19-20, “Go therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and I am with you always, even to the end of the world.”

God has promised through Jesus, “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” We should never forget the many blessings of the Resurrection. Pardon, Peace, Purity, Power, and God’s Presence are just a few. How amazing to think that Jesus died for us. But how great and wonderful to know that He also rose again! And because He rose again, you and I have blessings beyond compare. Thank God for the Resurrection!

No matter what you may be facing today, I want to encourage you to stay in faith, stay in prayer, stay in the Word every day, make you daily confession, pray in the spirit for our nation, our leaders, and all who are in authority, pray for the peace of Jerusalem; and remember “God loves you; we love you and JESUS IS LORD!”

Pastor's Word of the Month for March 2026!

Have you ever wanted to experience the abundant life that Jesus promised here? Like we have already learned, we don’t need any more promises from God. What we need is to become established in those promises that we know we already have. But what we are going to have to do is learn to change our thought process or our mind-set. Jesus promised us in John 10:10, “…I have come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” In order to experience this abundant life that He promised, we must do what Jesus did. Jesus kept His mindset on everything the Father had promised Him and that is the mindset that must have as well.
In Philippians 2:5-6, Paul tells us about this mindset, he says, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God.” Jesus knew that He was the Son of God, because He always referred to God as His Father. That is exactly how we should think. Too many Christians today never refer to God as their Father, but as God way out in space somewhere. But actually He, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are all Three living inside of your spirit, yes they are as near as your next breath!
Proverbs 23:7 says, “…as a man thinks in his heart, so is he…” If you believe and think in your heart that you are an overcomer, in Christ, then you will act like an overcomer, and you will become an overcomer. Too many Christians are overcome and not overcomers. You can have victory in every area of your life. When our thoughts are filled with victory, our actions and experiences will be filled with victory, so all of the glory will go to God! God has promised to lead us into victory in every area of life. If you spend time fellowshipping with God through prayer, studying and reading the Bible every day, then you will discover the champion in you. It is vitally important that we think the way that God thinks.
The only ways you can begin to think the way God thinks is to put the Word in you! The Father tells us in Isaiah 55:8-9, “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the LORD. For as the Heavens are higher than the Earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.” Notice God says His ways and thoughts are not ours. But really what God is saying here is that His ways and His thoughts should and can and should be our ways and our thoughts.
In First Corinthians 2:9-10, Paul says, “But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love him. But God has revealed them to us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.” No man has ever seen, heard, or even imagined the wonderful things God has in store for those who love the Lord. But Paul says in verse 10 that God has revealed them to us by His Spirit. No matter where you are in your life right this moment, God wants to take you to new levels in every area of your life. He wants to give you more wisdom so you can make better decisions. He wants to give you a strong anointing so you can have greater influence on others. He wants His blessings to come on you and overtake you so you can be a blessing to others. Whatever you do today, don’t get stuck in the same old rut—there’s so much more in this life! God has new frontiers for you with great confidence that the best days of your life are right in front of you! So begin today to think the way God thinks.
The Bible says in Proverbs 4:18, “The path of the righteous is as the shining light, that shines more and more.” Begin to think increase…think big…think expanse! Start expecting the unexpected and look at life through your eyes of faith. When you do, God will show up and begin to work things out in your favor.

No matter what you may be facing today, I want to encourage yourself in the Lord like David, stay in faith, stay in prayer, stay in the Word every day, make you daily confession, pray in the spirit for our nation, our leaders, and all who are in authority, pray for the peace of Jerusalem; and remember “God loves you; we love you and JESUS IS LORD!”

Pastor's Word of the Month for February 2026

As I was praying and asking the Lord what He wanted me to share with you this month, I believe He spoke to me and told me to encourage you to stay not only in your spirit man but also in your mind. In Ephesians 6:10, the Apostle Paul tells us, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.” Then in Romans 12:2, He tells us, And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove, what is that good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.”

In the day we are living in, it seems like people spend more time being concerned about their physical strength and health. But when it comes right down to it, mental strength and health can mean even more. Many articles have been written on building strong characteristics of mental strength. Some of these things written about are: (1) Tenacity, (2) Grit, (3) Optimism, (4) An Unfailing Ability. But we can also define mental strength by identifying the things mentally strong people avoid! I am impressed by the Lord to give you some things that Believers, and we who consider ourselves to be mentally and spiritually strong, to stay away from and avoid. This will take me some time to do, so over the next several months, I’ll be giving them to you step by step.

Mentally strong people: (1) Don’t waste time feeling sorry for the circumstances, or dwelling on the way they’ve been mistreated by other people. They have learned to take responsibility for their own actions and outcomes. They have an understanding of the fact that frequently, “life isn’t always fair!” They’re also able to emerge from the hard circumstances and situations with self-awareness and gratitude for the lessons they have learned. When a situation turns out badly, they just simply says, “Oh well!” A great example we have of this is in the life of David before he actually became king over Judah and Israel.

In First Samuel 30:1-19, the Bible says, “And it came to pass, when David and his men had come to Ziklag on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the south, and Ziklag, and had smitten Ziklag, and burned it with fire. And had taken the women captives, who were in it, they slew not any, either great or small, but carried them away, and went on their way. So David and his men came to the city, and it was burned with fire; and their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, were taken captives. Then David and the people who were with him lifted up their voices and wept, until they had no more power to weep. And David's two wives were taken captives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the wife of Nabal the Carmelite. And David was greatly distressed; for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God. And David said to Abiathar the Priest, Ahimelech's son, “I pray, bring me the ephod [Priestly Apron).” And Abiathar brought the ephod to David. And David inquired at the LORD, saying, “Shall I pursue after this troop? Shall I overtake them?” And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.” So David went, he and the six hundred men who were with him, and came to the Besor Brook, where those who were left behind stayed. But David pursued, he and four hundred men, for two hundred stayed behind, who were so faint that they could not go over the Besor Brook. And they found an Egyptian in the field, and brought him to David, and gave him bread, and he ate; and they made him drink water. And they gave him a piece of a cake of figs, and two clusters of raisins, and when he had eaten, his spirit came again to him, for he had eaten no bread, nor drank any water, three days and three nights. And David said to him, “To whom do you belong? And where are you from?” And he said, “I am a young man of Egypt, servant to an Amalekite; and my master left me, because three days ago I fell sick. We made an invasion on the south of the Cherethites, and on the coast which belongs to Judah, and on the south of Caleb; and we burned Ziklag with fire.” And David said to him, “Can you bring me down to this company?” And he said, “Swear to me by God, that you will neither kill me, nor deliver me into the hands of my master, and I will bring you down to this company.” And when he had brought him down, they were spread abroad on all the earth, eating and drinking, and dancing, because of all the great spoil that they had taken out of the Land of the Philistines, and out of the Land of Judah. And David smote them from the twilight even to the evening of the next day, and there escaped not a man of them, except four hundred young men, who rode on camels, and fled. And David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away: and David rescued his two wives. And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor anything that they had taken to them, David recovered all.”

I find it interesting in verse 6, the Bible says that David encouraged himself in the Lord his God. He didn’t wait for some to do for him, but he did it himself. Today too many Christians are waiting for someone to give them a word of encouragement, when the Bible says that David encourage himself in the Lord his God. Then as a result of David staying mentally strong, verses 18 and 19, tells us that everything that had been taken including David’s two wives, he was able to recover and take back.

That doesn’t sound to me like a man who was weak in faith, nor weak mentally but it sounds to me like a man who was strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, It sounds to me like a man who didn’t allow the circumstances of life keep him down. But it sounds to me like a man who was strong mentally and courageously went after what rightfully belonged to him and his people.

Pastor's Word of the Month for January 2026

Praise God, it’s 2026! People are constantly asking me, “What do you see happening this New Year?” Well to be very honest, I do believe God is showing me some things not only about this new year, but also about the next few years ahead of us. But we must always stick with the Word! Jesus told us in John’s Gospel, chapter 16:13-15; “Howbeit when He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak and He will show you things to come. He shall glorify Me: for He shall receive of Mine, and show it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine: therefore I said that He shall take of Mine, and shall show it to you.”

I do believe that 2026 is the year of God’s Divine Intervention of behalf of His people. Now I’m not a numerologist, but I do believe that numbers do have a great significance with God. In Hebrew Gematria and prophecy, the number 2026 is linked to the Hebrew year 5786, symbolizing “Divine Connection, blessing, and God’s hand for transformation, judgment and purposes, often interpreted as a year to “fish for men” and establish Kingdom purposes through spiritual hooks of connection and purpose.”

As we have seen some things happen this last year, that looked devastating, and they were to people outside of God’s Kingdom. But I have “Good News,” God reminds us in Acts 13:40-41, “Beware therefore, lest that comes on you, which is spoken of in the prophets; “Behold, you despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which you shall in no wise believe, though a man declared it to you.” [Habakkuk 1:5]

I believe we are about to see some of the greatest signs, wonders, miracles, supernatural debt-cancellation, transfer of wealth from the hands of the wicked into the hands of God’s people like never in the history of mankind. The work God is about to do in our day is going to be too hard for some to even believe.

Now is the time to believe God like never before. The children of Israel had to believe God for manna each and every day. They had to believe God for water to come out of rock. Elijah had to believe God for a raven to feed him with meat. The widow woman had to believe God when her barrel of meal and her cruse of oil was at an end. Naaman had to believe God to be healed from leprosy. But in all of these cases, they not only had to trust in God, but they had to trust in the Men of God.

In 2 Chronicles 20:20 the Bible says, “…Believe in the Lord your God, so shall you be established; believe His Prophets, SO SHALL YE PROSPER! God is about to start doing things in a very supernatural way, so now is not the time to try to figure out how He is going to do it. Simply believe it and receive it. Remember, just keep doing all you know to do in the natural and God will put His SUPER on your NATURAL!

In 2026, make no plans based on what you hear from the news media or what you might hear politicians say! God will always continue to lead His people by His Holy Spirit, as we read in John 16:13-15! We are not of this world; we are of the Kingdom of God! Remember God told us in Jeremiah 29:11 from the Living Bible: “For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

I love this verse, because God has plans for us! Those plans are for good and not bad! Those plans concern our future and our hope or expectation! Isn’t that awesome? God already has the plan for us. God has a plan of supernatural blessing and hope. Now is not the time to get down or discouraged but to remain strong in the Lord. The way we stay strong on the Lord is by staying strong in His Word! So look up, lift up your head and expect to see the mighty hand of our God move on your behalf like never before!

I want to encourage you to stay in faith, stay in prayer, stay in the Word every day, make you daily confession, pray in the spirit for our nation, our leaders, and all who are in authority, pray for the peace of Jerusalem; and remember “God loves you; we love you and JESUS IS LORD!”

Pastor's Word of the Month for December 2025:

As we approach the Christmas season, the end of another year, and the start of a New Year, I am always reminded of the story of the birth of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. One interesting fact is that the Angel of the Lord appeared several different times to Joseph, to Mary and of course when Jesus Himself was born. Luke’s Gospel says, “And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her Firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling clothes, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And the Angel of the Lord came upon them, and the Glory of the Lord shined around them, and they were sore afraid. And the Angel said unto them, “Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the City of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; You shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the Angel a multitude of the Heavenly Host [Angels] praising God, and saying, “Glory to God in the Highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” And it came to pass, as the Angels were gone away from them into Heaven, the shepherds said one to another, “Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing, which is come to pass, which the Lord has made known unto us.” (Luke 2:6-15)

My friend and partner, Angels are real! Whether you realize it or not, whether you believe it or not, they are real! In today’s so-called “Modern Christianity,” too many so-called “Christians,” don’t even believe in Angels or the virgin birth of Jesus Christ! But I’m here to tell you that the virgin birth is real and so are Angels. Not only are they real, but they are very ready to get involved in your circumstances of life.

In Hebrews chapter 1, verse fourteen, the Apostle Paul tells us that Angels are ministering spirits who are sent forth to minister to the heirs of salvation (that’s you and I). I believe in these last days we are going to see more angelic intervention on the behalf of the believers than ever before. What we must realize and understand is, they are ready, willing, and able to get involved in our life, but they need permission to do so. Angels of God want to get involved in our lives, but they need access and permission.

In Psalm 103:20-21, the Psalmist said it this way, “Bless the LORD, you His Angels, which excel in strength, which do His Commandments, hearkening unto the voice of His Word. Bless you the LORD, all you, His Hosts; you Ministers of His, that do His pleasure.”

Angels receive their permission from you and I as we speak the Word of God. Notice, they hearken to voice of the Word. We as believers give voice to the Word by speaking the Word and then in turn our ministering Angels are dispatched into the circumstances of our lives. Can you see that? This is why it’s so important that we speak only what the Word of God has to say on any given subject or situation.

In Matthew’s Gospel, the eighth chapter and verse eight tell us that the centurion man had a servant that needed healing. As Jesus was making His way to the heal the man, the centurion replied, “Speak the Word only and my servant shall be healed.” Later Jesus told His Disciples He had not seen so great of faith. Why? The centurion man believed the Word and all he needed was for Jesus to speak the Word only! I want to encourage you to do the same and as you do remember, your ministering Angels are listening and are ready to be dispatched into every situation and circumstance in your life.

It's Carla’s prayer and mine that you have MERRIEST CHRISTMAS EVER, AND THE MOST PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR IN 2026! I want to encourage you that if you want to build your faith, then learn to respect your tongue. I also want to encourage to stay in faith, stay in prayer, stay in the Word every day, make you daily confession, pray in the spirit for our nation, our leaders, and all who are in authority, pray for the peace of Jerusalem; and remember “God loves you; we love you and JESUS IS LORD!”
