On your worst day, bring your raw pain to God instead of spreading it to people. David’s prayer in Psalm 55 shows us how to pray honestly, refuse revenge, and cast our burden on the Lord. God would rather hear your complaints than watch you gossip. He will sustain you, protect your heart, and handle the rest in His timing. Psalm 55:17, 22-23

Happy Mother’s Day!
Your home has a culture-someone sets it. That someone is you. Psalm 101 calls us to house rules that reflect God: loyalty, integrity, truth, and faithfulness. As Joshua 24:15 says, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Whether you’re a mom, single, or living with roommates - your home can reflect Jesus on purpose. Do your house rules reflect who God is?

Yesterday at VVCC, we celebrated Mother’s Day in such a beautiful way. It was so special seeing families come together to sign the mirror and declare, “As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” — Joshua 24:15 🤍
