MISSION STATEMENT

Second Baptist Church of Herrin has its mission to fulfill the Great Commission given by Jesus in Matthew 28:19-20, by leading people in the journey of worship, education, evangelism, and ministry action. In worship to collectively come together in celebration of God's love demonstrated in Christ Jesus. In education to help believers of all ages build a foundation of Biblical un

derstand; to encourage believer to discover their spiritual gifts and be participating members of the body of Christ. In evangelism to reach people for Christ by encouraging members to seek out the unchurched and participate in opportunities to share the evangelistic message of Christ.
