Baby Myles got to go home after 28 days in the hospital! Please continue prayers for him and his family as they transition back to life as a family of 5!

💙Myles Update💙

Surgery went great! He also got his hernia repaired. He’s awake and stable just waiting for them to wheel him up to his room!

Good morning prayer warriors!! Update from Myles’s mama Karlee:

“💙Myles Update💙

This lil guy is such a rock star! He’s finally gaining weight. The infection was causing him to lose weight. He had lost 2 lbs and for an infant that’s a lot. He’s finally up to 11 lbs now. His bloodwork has been looking good too.

His last 3 cultures are NEGATIVE!!
🙌🏻PRAISE THE LORD!!🙌🏻

The rest continue to be negative as well. They’re shooting for Sept 1st to have his surgery to get the new shunt placed. Then hopefully if all goes well we’ll be getting discharged after.

He’s so strong!💪🏻

Surgery for his new shunt is scheduled for Tuesday! He has to have an Inguinal Hernia repair as well during his shunt surgery. “

We all pray for him every day but send up some big prayers for him on Tuesday ya’ll!!

Long before Zacchaeus ever struggled to see Jesus, God had already prepared the way.

A tree was already there. A simple detail in the story, yet a powerful reminder that nothing in your life is ever random in the hands of God. What looks like coincidence is often divine preparation.

And just like that tree, God goes ahead of you too—before the need arises, before the problem appears, before the moment of desperation ever comes. He is already arranging what you will need for the encounter He has appointed for you.

When you feel overlooked, blocked, or too small in the crowd of life, remember this: God is not only aware of your situation—He has already prepared a way for you to see Him, meet Him, and be changed by Him.

He is not reacting to your season. He is leading it. 🤍🙏🏻

!!HBC Prayer Warriors!!

Our littlest warrior has had a rough few days, Baby Myles update below from his mama Karlee

“We went to an Endocrinology appointment today for Myles and he felt super warm and his shunt was super red and inflamed. He had a fever and with the shunt you have to be super careful. So the nurse walked us to the ER for some tests.

His shunt is infected.
So they have to remove the shunt and put in a temporary thing called a ‘button’ that they’ll drain once a day/as needed. Then once the infection is gone another surgery to put a whole new shunt in.

He’s currently in surgery now and we’re in the PICU room. He’s going to be here at least 2 weeks.

We haven’t got to hold him since yesterday evening because we don’t want his fever spiking again. The Tylenol brought it down a little but not enough to break the fever. He had to have a few ‘Ice baths’ (ice packs against him) last night because his temperature was too hot.

They figured out the exact infection that he has and which antibiotics to give to treat it. He got PICC line today so he can get the antibiotics and hopefully start fighting off this infection.

They had to bump up his oxygen a lot because he was working too hard to breath and he was breathing too fast and labored. Last night when they swapped his oxygen regulator, because it was hissing like there was a leak, he destatted super fast. Which made this mama instantly panic.

We’ll be here a few weeks till the infection is fully gone then he’ll have another surgery to get a new shunt.

Poor guy has been in the hospital longer than he’s been home.”

Pray for Myles, his medical team, his parents, his brothers, and his support system at home 🤍 We know God is the ultimate healer and that prayer can move mountains so let’s move some today! 🏔️
