Joseph Craft Fair is held each year on the last Saturday of October, rain or shine. We hold the Fair in our Parish Hall, and we strive to offer a wide variety of quality merchandise, with many of our vendors returning year after year. We accept only artisans with hand-crafted goods – no pre-manufactured items or independent consultant merchandise. For our shoppers, we feature a large selection of
hand made item from our vendors that include knitted merchandise, hand made candles, hand creams, pet clothes, American doll clothes, accessories, hand painted glass work, jewelry, house ware, paper gift items, face painting. We hold a raffle every year. We have ample, free, on-site parking available as well, and our facility is fully handicapped-accessible. For more information on our facility, please visit our Parish website: www.sjcherndon.org. You have the option of setting up either Friday evening or Saturday morning, providing assistance with unloading and loading, free coffee and donuts during Saturday morning set-up, and the option of having lunch delivered right to your booth from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. When planning the layout for the Fair, we make every effort to make sure you are not placed near another crafter with similar merchandise, which is why we ask that photos be submitted with your application. Our booth spaces are a generous 10’ x 10’, with at least a foot between you and any other vendor, and many of them are the highly desirable corner spaces. All proceeds from this event support the local community, especially food outreach programs such as the Backpack Bag Meal project that provides food for children at risk of hunger at local elementary schools, summer grocery outreach for local families, and meals for local homeless shelters.
