You are invited to join us for our Ash Wednesday service at 7pm this Wednesday, February 18th.
To mark the beginning of lent, we burn palms from the previous Palm Sunday, mix anointing oil with the ashes, and receive the sign of the cross to remind us both that we were made from the dust of the earth and will return to that dust, and of our participation in that which led to the cross. Because of what Jesus accomplished on the cross, we have forgiveness and life when we come to the Lord in repentance and receive that great gift of grace.

Just a reminder that church is cancelled for tomorrow, Sunday, January 25. The annual meeting will be Sunday, February 1 after worship.

There will be no service on Sunday, but you are invited to join Pastor Karis online for a brief devotional message at our regular service time.
Next Sunday, February 1st is our Heritage Sunday, celebration of Holy Communion, and our Annual Meeting followed by a shared covered dish meal in the Fellowship hall.
Saturday, February 7th from 10am-Noon, we plan to have a Leadership training. While it is for incoming and outgoing council members to share information, anyone who is interested in the various practical ministry areas of the congregation is invited to come for discussion. This is an opportunity to ask questions about the church and how or why things function, as well as get connected with various committees.

Advent on the 21st will be celebrated during the morning service with music from the chimes and vocal choirs.
Christmas Eve we begin with a Prelude of Special music at 6:30pm and the liturgy beginning at 7pm. Please join us for this joyful reflection on Jesus' birth with songs, scriptures, and Holy Communion.

Good morning and a blessed Gaudete Sunday to you all! We rejoice in the new snowfall, but please be safe driving this morning. The lot at church is plowed and the main roads are salted, but please drive carefully. Another opportunity to worship together will be this evening at 7pm for our Vespers Carol Service.
