🌊 The Pointe Youth Rafting Trip 2026 — More Than Just a Trip! 🙏💙
What an incredible few days we had on our youth rafting trip! While we expected adventure, God had more in store. This trip became a beautiful reminder that sometimes the biggest lessons happen when we’re willing to trust God and take the next step—even when the rapids get rough. 🌊
During our trip, we had Bible studies focused on trusting God through the rapids of life. We talked about how, just like on the river, we may not always know what is coming around the next bend, but we can trust the One who does. Our youth were challenged to put their faith into action, trust God when things get difficult, and remember that He is with us through every rapid life brings.
But one of the most meaningful parts of our trip happened off the river. ❤️
We had the incredible opportunity to serve dinner to more than 40 employees of OAR on what was the biggest day in the history of their company! We were told that no one had ever done anything like this for them before.
What started as simply serving a meal became something so much bigger. Conversations were shared. Smiles were exchanged. Tears were shed, hearts were touched, and seeds were planted. 🌱
The employees were incredibly grateful for what our youth group did, and several of them even wanted The Pointe Youth shirts! 👕💙 What an amazing opportunity for our students to show that serving others isn't just something we talk about in church—it’s something we live out.
We are so incredibly proud of our youth! They stepped up, served with willing hearts, and represented Christ and The Pointe Youth so beautifully. We pray that the seeds planted during this trip continue to grow long after we’ve returned home. 🙏
And we cannot say THANK YOU enough to everyone who helped make this trip possible! To every person who donated, gave financially, helped with fundraising, volunteered, prayed, provided supplies, or simply encouraged our youth—YOU were a part of this! 💙
Because of your generosity, our students were able to experience adventure, grow in their faith, serve others, and be the hands and feet of Jesus.
🌊 We went rafting… but God took us on a journey.🙏 We learned to trust Him through the rapids.❤️ We served others.🌱 We planted seeds.💙 And we made memories we will never forget.
