In September our Big Deal in Preschool is, “Wild and Wonderful! God Values Me!”. And in Elementary our Simple Truth is "I Am Valued" through the superstar theme VIP. All our Kiddos will have a fun adventure as they learn about the unique and special ways God created them and how much He values them. We will teach that God made us with worth, He celebrates us, He made us on purpose, and He sent Jesus for us. We hope to see you soon!

Take time today to pray as a family—talk and listen to God. Pray these four things:

1. Thank God that He wants us to love like Jesus.
2. Ask God to help you love others like Jesus.
3. Pray for those for whom it may be hard to show Jesus’ love. Pray that you can share His love with them.
4. Choose one or two other people to pray for—that they can love others like Jesus would.

Take 1 day this week to highlight these 2 things and spend 3 minutes talking about them: Show your preschoolers a tape measure and ask, “When have you used or watched a tape measure being used?” Tell your preschoolers that when they see a tape measure, they can remember that God’s love is so big it cannot be measured! Preschoolers learned that Jesus wanted everyone to know that loving others, even when it is hard, makes us more like God. When we love everyone, people can see God’s love shining through us. Gather some paper and pencils, then pair family members together. This week we taught kids that they can trust like Jesus. In Matthew 6, Jesus told people not to worry but to remember how God provides for His creation. God loves and cares for us more than the birds in the sky or the flowers in the fields. God loves us so much; He sent Jesus for us. Take a walk and enjoy creation, celebrating what God has made and how we can trust the Creator of everything to take care of us.
