OCTOBER COMMUNION OFFERING: Heartland Hands Food Pantry
Heartland Hands Food Pantry is the largest pantry in DeSoto County. They are 100% volunteer run with donations of food coming from local distributors. They serve residents from Horn Lake and Southaven as well as local food pantries and ministries. The communion offering this month will help supplement their supply when they are running low on food.

You can contribute online for this offering through the month at give.getwellchurch.org using the “Communion Offering” fund.

Let us help you with your Thanksgiving Meal!

By ordering dishes from Getwell Missions, you are not only giving your family delicious food for Thanksgiving, but you are also helping all the 2026-2027 mission team members raise funds for their trips. All dishes will be frozen so that they can be used at any time. Pick up is Sunday, November 15 at both Hernando and Southaven campuses.

- Breakfast Brunch Dish - $32– 9x13 size (made with sausage, egg, and cheese) - benefits Nicaragua Missions Team
- Potato and Cheese Soup - $15 quart size (potatoes, cheese, chicken broth, bacon and spices) benefits the Philippines Mission Team
- Chicken & Sausage Gumbo - $15 quart size (chicken, smoked sausage, okra, celery, onions, bell peppers and chicken broth) benefits the Philippines Mission Team
- Chicken and Dressing Dish - $38– 9x13 size (made with cornbread, chicken, eggs, onions & spices) – benefits England Mission Team
- Sweet Potato Dish - $32– 9x13 size (made with sweet potatoes, butter, eggs, and brown sugar topping) – benefits India Mission Team
- Corn Casserole Dish - $32- 9x13 size (made with corn, cornbread, sour cream, butter and cheese) - benefits Nicaragua Mission Team
- Pecan Pie - $30 - (made with pecans, butter, corn syrup, sugar, eggs and vanilla) - benefits the India Mission Team
Order from October 11 - November 11 online.

Please pre-order your meals by filling out the order form. We prefer to get payment up front so payment options are included in the form. Please make sure to mark the appropriate section depending on whether you plan to pay online or via cash/check.

You will receive a text reminder the day before pick up telling you where to pick up your dishes. All dishes will be in disposable containers.

During October, Getwell's communion offering will benefit Heartland Hands! Please give toward the work of Heartland Hands as they distribute food to those in need in DeSoto County. You can give throughout the month on campus or online at give.getwellchurch.org.

THIS SUNDAY, September 27 we are hosting the first ever Souper Support event to benefit our Philippine Mission Team. No registration needed - just come to the Student Ministry Room at 11:30AM, make a donation of any amount, and try multiple kinds of soup, chili and gumbo! See you there!
