Hey Friends!
We are long overdue about updating and I apologize for that. It's been quite a busy season to say the least....
First off- Bob is doing well in light of some complications he is experiencing. He is in great spirits and has a wonderful attitude and is working so very hard to recover. He is playing the piano almost daily as part of his therapy routine and stays busy and active as much as he possibly can which helps him greatly. His shoulder, however, is not progressing as the surgeon had hoped it would. We are at the 8th month mark since the fall and break. They are doing a lot of manual therapy on his shoulder as well as his at home exercises which he does daily. His left shoulder has a lot of scar tissue and is "frozen" They've been working on un freezing it for several weeks and he is not progressing as they need him to. The surgeon, whom we love and are grateful for, has told us that in the next 30 days if significant improvement is not made surgery will be our next and only option so Bob can properly heal and recover.
In regards to stroke recovery, Bob is still working to regain strength and stamina to preach. He is also working on his vestibular so that he is not off balance and dizzy and also some occupational therapy to still function on his left side. His left side still is "asleep" and feeling and movement is not quite where it needs to be.
I am traveling as much as possible preaching revival, retreats and events and loving it! Of course, I am still leading worship and singing and the girls come along as much as possible. In addition to that as of May 1 I am officially an Associate Pastor serving under my Dad, Pastor Russell Brewer at our home church, Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene. I have been serving and working quite a bit with my Dad (and my Mom, of course) and been working closely with him but now, it's really official and I am so excited and grateful! In addition to leading worship I also preach frequently, teach Sunday School, manage social media and technology. I am blessed and thankful to manage my travel schedule as well as my duties at the church and of course my school load as I continue toward the path of ordination in the Church of the Nazarene as an Elder. Nazarene Bible College is amazing and I am SO grateful for my classes, professors and new connections I am forming there.
Chloe and Hannah are doing well and keep me very, very busy. I could not manage their schedules without the support and help of my Mom and Dad and, at times, our church family. Bob also helps when he is able and the girls love spending time with their Daddy.
Later this Summer I will head back into the studio to finally record vocals for my new solo project. Jeff Duffield has arranged and produced some amazing songs for me that I am SO excited to record and share with all of you. Every single song is special and has deep personal meaning for me. Chloe and Hannah will also record a special song together and then they'll join me on a song. So, we're excited and so grateful for how God has provided for this project and already blessing.
Again, thank you for all of the love and support we constantly receive. It means SO much to us and is such a blessing and so helpful more than we can ever express.
I do have some fall and Christmas dates open for 2026 still and would love to come and worship with you. Please contact me and let's chat about setting something up!
We love and appreciate you all SO very much. We are praying for you, our dear friends, too!
We are blessed and not without hope! We're gonna make it, friends!
