Father Ben Nwosu celebrated Mass for The Twenty-third Sunday in Ordinary Time at 4:00 PM Saturday September 5, 2026, with 95 in attendance.
Jesus and Coffee gathers on Mondays at 10 am to discuss the upcoming gospel reading and reflect on its meaning. The meeting is held at the McCarty Senior Center in Wheatland, and all are invited.
The Parish Council would like your help in our church Stewardship to our community. We are collecting one or more items a month from each church family. The items for September are Small Shelf Stable Items that kids can make meals with. Please place items in the tub by the water cooler in Miller Hall. The items will go to Hermitage school via the “Backpack Program”, for distribution.
Our September carry-in dinner will be held after Mass on September 12th. The Parish council is furnishing Ham and rolls, along with the drinks. Please bring a side dish and or a dessert to share.
The Missouri Catholic Conference is urging support for “Pro-life Amendment 3,” to restore safeguards around abortion, protect women’s health, and uphold the dignity of human life. The bishops call on Missourians to support the amendment through prayer, fasting, and civic engagement.

Father Ben Nwosu celebrated Mass for The Twentieth Sunday in Ordinary Time at 4:00 PM Saturday August 15th with 81 in attendance. Father took a moment at the end of Mass to express his gratitude for the gifts, cards, and prayers he received last week on the occasion of his 25th anniversary of Ordination into the Priesthood.

A Mass was held Friday, at 6:00 PM for the Celebration of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. There were 18 in attendance.

St, Bernadette’s hosted the August meeting of Sisters in Christ. Parishioners supplied a variety of salads, desserts, and drinks that were enjoyed by all.

A Mass will be held this Friday, the 14th at 6:00 PM for the Celebration of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Please join us.

Saturday after Mass the Parish Council hosted the Sweets Table. Mass attendees joined them for some delicious ice cream and other treats while visiting with fellow members and visitors. Also, a cake was served in honor of Father Ben celebrating the 25th anniversary of his ordination on August the 10th.

Father Ben Nwosu celebrated Mass for The Seventeenth Sunday in Ordinary Time at 4:00 PM Saturday July 25th with 89 in attendance.

You might remember Gabriel Eckstein from when he has been here to assist Father. Gabriel is from Cole Camp.

St. Ann’s held the celebration of the Rite of Candidacy for Gabriel Eckstein on July 26th. Candidacy is a rite which takes place during Roman Catholic seminary formation, by which the Church recognizes the seminarian as worthy of being ordained (hence, they become a "candidate" for ordination to the priesthood). His Excellency, Bishop Ralph O’Donnell, presided over the Mass and officially accepted Gabriel.
