Good morning, Father Ben Nwosu celebrated Mass for "The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ" at 4:00 PM Saturday June 6th with 72 in attendance.

Adoration for June has been moved to 4:00 PM on June 12th. The Parish Council will be hosting the June Sweets Table after Mass on June 13th.

Father Ben Nwosu celebrated Mass for The Most Holy Trinity at 4:00 PM Saturday May 30th with 66 in attendance.

It was announced in Church Saturday that parishioner Kenneth Holmes passed away Friday evening. Please pray for the repose of his soul and keep his wife Janice in your prayers as she makes preparations for his memorial. I will publish those details as they become available.

Good morning. What a great Memorial weekend. Father Ben Nwosu celebrated Mass for Pentecost Sunday at 4:00 PM Saturday May 23rd with 108 in attendance.

Father Ben Nwosu celebrated Mass for The Ascension Of The Lord at 4:00 PM Saturday May 16th with 73 in attendance.

Jesus and Coffee gathers on Mondays at 10 am to discuss the upcoming gospel reading and reflect on its meaning. The meeting is held at the McCarty Senior Center in Wheatland, and all are invited.

At the conclusion of the Mass, St. Bernadettes entry to the July 4th Pomme de Terre Chamber duck race was introduce to the Mass attendees. Chaplain Berduck, along with his friend from Toys For Kids were blessed by Father Ben. He wished them a safe and speedy trip through the treacherous waters of the Pomme de Terre river.

During the Parish Council meeting last week, the decision was made to resume participating in distribution of the wine. We will resume the practice on the first Saturday of June. Father will be distributing all the hosts, so we will need to form a single line to him and then step to the side for wine.

Father Ben Nwosu celebrated The Sixth Sunday of Easter at 4:00 PM Saturday May 9th with 78 in attendance.

Jesus and Coffee gathers on Mondays at 10 am to discuss the upcoming gospel reading and reflect on its meaning. The meeting is held at the McCarty Senior Center in Wheatland and all are invited.

Our May carry-in dinner was held after Mass on Saturday May 9th. The Parish Council provided fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. Those attending contributed a side dish and or a dessert. The evening was enjoyed by all and all of the mothers received a potted plant donated by Owen's Greenhouse Gardens of Urbana.

I checked Ferry's Funeral Homes web site this morning, but they do not have an obituary posted for Martha Tippling yet. I have been informed that her Funeral will be held there at 1:00 pm this Thursday the 14th. I will send out another Flocknote after I see the obituary posted.
