hen Franciscan Friars of The Sacred Heart Provence ministered until 2002. At that time, Fr. Bill Debo, a priest for the Diocese of Jefferson City ( The Diocese was established in 1956), became pastor. George Catholic Church (Parish) also supports a parochial Pre-K through Eighth Grade School on it’s campus.

The St George School and PSR 6th Grade Students participated in a beautiful day of prayer, discernment and fun activities at the of Jefferson City Vocation Day.
Bishop O’Donnell officiated the Mass.
We encountered and interacted with Consecrated Religious Brothers and Sisters.
We discussed, Husband and Wife united with God, to form the trinity of a Sacramental Marriage.
We recognized that our Pastors are genuine humans with interests and personalities much as our own, who responded to a call from God to serve as Father, shepherd and priestly minister.
We have a better knowledge of Formation for the priesthood and Religious callings, including Seminarians, Deacons, (transitional and permanent )
We are very grateful for all those who served us today. The amazing panels in each breakout session, volunteers who guided and provided. Thank you to the stewardship of many who provided Tee Shirts and lunches and every other amenity today. God Bless!

It was a beautiful day.
It was wonderful to be able to witness the Confirmation conferred by Bishop O’Donnell. The candidates included 2 from St Alexander, Belle; 4 from Immaculate Conception, Owensville; 19 St George School Students (St George, CRS, St Paul. Berger) and 5 PSR Students.
