Monday, we held our International Overdose Awareness Day event, and our hearts are truly full. 💜

We’re incredibly grateful to Justin Phillips from Overdose Lifeline,Inc for traveling to be with us and sharing her powerful message. Through Overdose Lifeline, Justin works to reduce stigma, educate communities, and support individuals and families affected by substance use. We’re so thankful she took the time to share her experience, her knowledge, and the important work she continues to do!

Another special shout-out to Renee for sharing her story with such vulnerability and courage. As a valued Member of RISE, her story of hope, strength, and empowerment reminded us why these conversations matter and how powerful it can be to share our experiences.

To everyone who attended and held space with us, as well as all of the local agencies and community partners who joined us, tabled, and shared valuable resources and information with our Members and community- having you there meant more than we can say. Your presence, support, and willingness to be part of this important day truly made a difference. Together, we remember those we’ve lost, support those still fighting, and work toward a future where no more lives are lost. 💜
