We are still the church and we are now worshipping with Morning Star United Methodist Church. The First United Methodist Church of Herkimer and Little Falls held its closing service on July 20, 2025. The building is closed and the building is returned to the United Methodists of Upper New York. The church still carries on with the congregation and all its membership transferring to the Morning Sta

Our new worship times are as follows:
(May-Oct) Morning Star United Methodist Church, 36 Second Street, Ilion, NY 10:30 am
(Nov-Apr) Morning Star United Methodist Church, 4224 Acme Road, Frankfort, NY (across from the Dollar General) 10:30 am
There is a bus service in front of the Herkimer UMC 127 N. Prospect Street, Herkimer for those who need transportation to our new worship spaces.

There will be a blessing of the Backpacks. All students, teachers and Bible Study attendees - Bring your backpack or book bag for a blessing.

Pastor Joelle will share her message with us.
The Food Pantry is in need of food. Please bring your donations to church and we will deliver them to the food pantry. Please check expiration dates and donate non-perishable items only. Thank you!
Bible Study will begin on Tuesday, September 9th at 10:00am in the Ilion church. Books are here for those that signed up. The 10-week course will be on "Embracing Truth".
Car Show will be on September 27. If anyone is interested in helping, please see Barb Horwald. Many hands make light work.
September 2 - Respite Center Lucy's Quiet Place
10:00am - 2:00pm
September 2 - Weight Watchers 4:45 - 6:15pm in Frankfort
September 3 - Golden Oldies 1:00 - 3:00pm in Ilion
September 7 - Outreach Committee meet after worship in the Choir Room
