In faithful response to the will and purposes of God, as revealed through Jesus Christ and God's continuing revelation of the Holy Scriptures, our belief is that we are Christians only, not the only Christians, where we seek unity among people of all denominations and freedom from doctrinal creeds: "No creed but Christ". Membership is based on a simple affirmation of faith: "I believe that Jesus
is the Christ, the Son of the living God, and I accept him as my Lord and Savior." Baptism is by immersion, but those who have been previously immersed in other churches need only present a letter of transfer of membership. The communion service is part of the regular worship, and all who are present are welcome to participate. The church believes that all Christians are free to interpret Scripture according to their own conscience, and that all who seriously study the Bible will find their faith deepened and their understanding of the Christian life enriched. Because of our ecumenical stance, peope from many diverse backgrounds find our worship service both comfortable and meaningful. A well-balanced variety of programs is offered for all ages.
