The Henryetta Public Library’s 2025 Summer Reading Program, Color Our World, wrapped up with a celebration of reading, creativity, and community spirit. As part of the program, students had the chance to enjoy books, games, and weekly activities while earning prizes for their participation.

A highlight of the summer was the donation of a $50 Walmart gift card by the Henryetta Chapter #175 Order of the Eastern Star. Worthy Matron Billie Been and Conductress Joan Dickey proudly presented the prize drawings to this year’s winners—Jaxx Gaskill, a 5th grader, and Raylee Cook, a 6th grader. They were joined by Joann Hott, librarian of the Henryetta Public Library, in recognizing the students’ accomplishments.

The gift card served as an extra incentive for young readers, rewarding dedication and consistent attendance throughout the program. With strong community support, the Color Our World summer program proved once again that books can open doors to fun, imagination, and lifelong learning.
