We are dual beings—both natural and spiritual. Apostle Paul addresses these two natures of man in Romans 7:14–25. While our natural brain learns and develops as we gather knowledge, our spiritual mind is already fully formed because we were created in the image of God.

God placed spiritual capacity within us, giving us discernment. Our spiritual mind acts as a receiver: it evaluates the signals and warnings picked up by the natural brain, while also perceiving spiritual truths our physical minds cannot comprehend.

When we sense something in the spirit, our spiritual mind transmits that understanding directly to our human mind. Thus, we learn in two dimensions—naturally as we grow, and spiritually through revelation. Because we are fashioned in the image of Yahweh, we are already equipped to comprehend, analyze, see, hear, and discern everything He intends for us. Our spiritual man constantly transmits wisdom to our natural man. As Matthew 26:41 reminds us, the flesh is weak, but the spirit is willing.

Some distinguish between body, soul, and spirit, but I believe we are body and spirit—because the soul and spirit are one unified inner man. It is not four aspects, nor three separate parts like body, soul, and spirit; it is body and spirit working as one. In Genesis 2:7, God breathed the "breath of life" into the dust of the earth to bring man to life. That breath was a literal piece of Yahweh placed inside of us: His very Spirit.

Discernment is not a skill we acquire; it is an innate gift placed within us because we house the Spirit of God. Through Him, we are already fully equipped—mentally, physically, and spiritually.

The true name of a succubus in Hebrews text

Aluca, or Alukah, is a feminine Hebrew word meaning “horse-leech.” Alukah appears in the Sefer Hasidim, where the creature is described as a living human being who can shapeshift into a wolf and fly, with her long hair. Some traditions also refer to Alukah as a succubus or vampire, with connections sometimes attributed to Babylonian demonology.

It’s so amazing. One day while I was writing a song, I decided to translate it into Japanese. And as I was translating it, something just dropped in my spirit about how YHWH speaks to us and communicates with us.

It blows my mind — with all the different languages around the world, in every nation and continent, every region, state, city, and town. We all speak different languages, and it amazes me how He speaks to us in the stillness of the wind, right at your gates… that small, settled sound when He calls your name.

Whatever your language is — Japanese, Portuguese, English, French, Akan — He speaks to you in it. It’s so amazing to hear His voice in your own language, your native tongue. The language you speak in your city, in your town. The language you use when you’re talking with your friends and family. The language you sing in.

His voice speaks to you in that language. It’s an amazing sound — hearing the voice of YHWH when He calls your name.
