📖 Scripture Sunday

As we begin General Conference, let us remember our theme: The Beauty of Holiness.

Holiness is more than something we believe; it is a way of life that shapes how we worship, how we serve, and how we treat one another. As a global, Wesleyan people, we are called to grow in holiness and to reflect the character of Christ in all that we do.

As delegates, volunteers, staff, and guests gather from around the world, may our worship be Spirit-filled, our conversations gracious, and our decisions guided by the Holy Spirit. May the beauty of holiness be evident not only in our worship, but in the way we listen, disagree, serve, and seek God’s will together.

Lord, make us a people who worship You with reverence and joy. May the beauty of Your holiness be seen in us throughout General Conference and beyond. Amen. 🙏

🙏 Join us in praying for Nepal in the aftermath of flash flooding that led to devastating mudslides. We received word from our churches in the area–several churches have been damaged, and members or pastors are missing or tragically died. For Timure Church in Rasuwa, only the pastor survived.

The GMC disaster response team is actively working with churches in this area. Pray for the churches, families, missing people and the affected communities.

To our brothers and sisters in Nepal–we care about you and are praying for you.
