We were so looking forward to a joy filled week of kids camp together encountering Christ. However, we have been closely monitoring the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Due to the continued health concerns related to COVID-19 and the deadline of camp registration/bed count commitments we have made the decision to voluntarily cancel CrossTimbers Camp for FBC Hennessey. Cross Timbers Camp was scheduled for July 20-23, 2020 and to ensure the health and safety of all participants we have made the decision to cancel camp for our church. While we are disappointed, we know this is the right decision. Nothing can replace the true connection of CrossTimbers camp, but we will be exploring possibilities to host a local camp or camp elements (ropes course, swimming, outdoor games, worship, bible teachings) throughout the summer. In the meantime, we ask all of you to join us as we pray for our campers, for our families, and for our staff.

If you have a child in our ministry, grades 1st-5th, please join us as we discuss the new curriculum and how you can participate and reinforce what your children are learning.

4-5th grade Children are going Christmas caroling tonight. Please send them to church with warm coats and hats.

Tomorrow night will be spreading some Christmas cheer by caroling at the Hennessey Care Center. Each year we bless every resident by giving them a caddy filled with some special items. We are in still need of 15 people to volunteer to sponsor a caddy for $15. Let me know if you’d like to help out and donate to this cause
