💔 Tonight, our hearts are heavy… but we are holding on to HOPE. 🙏❤️
As I sit here tonight in the warmth of my home, knowing my family is safe, I cannot stop thinking about the faces of the people we have come to know and love on the streets.
The ones we hug. The ones we pray with. The ones who have become so much more than just people we serve. They have become our friends. Our people. A part of our hearts. 💔
And tonight, some of them are trying to find a place to lay their heads where the cold won't hurt quite so badly.
While so many of us are turning up our heat, pulling our blankets a little tighter, and climbing into our warm beds, there are people right here in our community wondering how they are going to survive another freezing night.
And y'all… it absolutely breaks my heart.
I wish I could bring every single one of them home. I wish I had enough blankets, enough coats, enough warm meals, and enough resources to make sure nobody had to shiver through another night.
But the heartbreaking reality is that we cannot do this alone.
Winter is coming, and we are desperately trying to prepare. We need blankets, thermal clothing, gloves, hats, hand warmers, emergency thermal blankets, warm socks, and financial support to continue showing up for these precious people.
These aren't just strangers standing on street corners. They are somebody's son. Somebody's daughter. Somebody's mother or father. They are people with stories, with broken hearts, with dreams that haven't completely died.
And every single one of them is deeply loved by Jesus.
I know we cannot fix everything. I know we cannot save everyone. But I also know that we cannot allow ourselves to become so comfortable in our own warmth that we forget those who are freezing outside.

TWO of our regular friends, two precious souls we have continued to see and love through their struggles, are in the process of going to detox TONIGHT!
Y'ALL!!! TWO!!! 😭🙌
Two people who are taking a step toward freedom. Two people who are choosing to fight for their lives. Two people who are reminding us why we keep showing up, even on the days when our hearts feel like they cannot take another ounce of heartbreak.
We know the road ahead won't be easy. Detox is just the beginning. But tonight, there is HOPE. Tonight, there is a chance for a different tomorrow.
And if all the cold nights, all the tears, all the miles driven, and all the prayers whispered lead to even ONE person finding their way back to life, then every bit of it is worth it.
Please, please help us prepare for this winter. We are not asking for luxuries. We are asking for the things that can help keep someone warm, safe, and alive.

Pray for the ones sleeping outside. Pray for the ones battling addiction. Pray for the ones who have lost hope. And please pray for our two friends taking those first brave steps toward recovery tonight.
Because the same God who sees us in the comfort of our homes sees every single person shivering in the darkness. Not one of them is forgotten by Him.
Tonight, our hearts are breaking for some… and rejoicing for two.
And we are trusting God for the day when we get to rejoice for so many more. ❤️
