Packing for a mission trip looks a little different around here 💚🇩🇴

Sometimes it’s pajamas for a widow.
Sometimes it’s toothpaste for a child.
Sometimes it’s snacks, pillows, or simple gifts that remind someone they are seen, loved, and cared for.

Every item on this wishlist helps us prepare for VBS, encourage widows, and serve guests well during our upcoming Dominican Republic trip. These small items truly make a BIG impact for both our team and the guests we’ll serve.

This Mother’s Day, Long Hollow will be partnering with Compassion International to provide a special opportunity for our church to help connect children in Southeast Asia with sponsors and support a global discipleship movement.

We are in need of volunteers to help host tables and assist attendees as they complete sponsorship forms during each service. Training will be provided ahead of time, along with a brief recap before your service. We need 25 volunteers per service at Hendersonville and 5 per service at Gallatin, making this a great opportunity for Life Groups, friends, or anyone who wants to serve. Yesterday we hosted our very first Partner Connect! This group of LH church members gathered together to hear directly from Scarlet Hope to learn who they are and how they can get involved- all while enjoying a free cup of coffee from Legacy Coffee!

We are excited to invite you to a special evening celebrating all that God has been doing through global missions at Long Hollow Church!

Join us for Missions Night on Thursday, May 7 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM in the Student Building at our Hendersonville campus as we reflect on the incredible impact of our 2025 trips and the trips that have already taken place in 2026. This night is for anyone who has gone on a trip, is preparing to go, or simply wants to hear stories, learn more, and explore how to get involved in global missions.

Decisions Choices & Options Inc. serves the youth of Middle Tennessee with dynamic and engaging sexual risk avoidance prevention education programs in local school classrooms and community organizations. Reaching over 18,500 youth and students ages 11-19 each school year, DCO effectively impacts the future of those we are privileged to serve by equipping them with necessary skills to achieve optimal health and successful life outcomes.
