Good morning, friends. ☀️

As I was writing today's devotion, I found myself reflecting on how easy it is for good things to slowly become the main thing.

Sports. Work. Activities. Success. Busy schedules.

None of those things are wrong, but when they begin directing our lives instead of Christ, we can find ourselves exhausted, disconnected, and missing the peace God intended for our homes.

Today's devotion from Humble Altars, Holy Legacy reminds us that obedience is more than following rules—it's learning to trust God's loving order. When Christ is truly the Head of our home, every part of life begins to align. Even the ball field, the car rides, the tournaments, the practices, and the everyday moments become opportunities to honor Him.

One line that stayed with me:

"Before the Game, We Bow to the King."

That simple truth changes everything.

I'd love to hear from you today:

👉 What is one way your family works to keep Christ at the center, even during busy seasons?

Today's devotion is a reminder that Christ remains the Head of the home—even when life feels messy, painful, or far from perfect.

Whether you're a wife, a single mom, or simply walking through a season of healing, God sees you. Your past does not define you. Your wounds do not disqualify you. As we surrender our hearts to Him, He transforms broken places into holy legacy.

💛 Today's Challenge: Take a few quiet moments with the Lord and ask Him to strengthen your heart, heal old hurts, and guide your family with His wisdom and love.

In a world that often measures leadership by authority, God measures it by sacrifice. Today’s devotion challenges husbands to look into the mirror of the cross and discover what true headship really looks like. Christ did not lead through control—He led through love, service, and surrender.

As we continue our journey through Humble Altars, Holy Legacy: Restoring the Nuclear Family in Christ, we explore how one surrendered heart can transform an entire home. Whether you're a husband seeking to lead your family more faithfully, a wife praying for your marriage, or a parent desiring a stronger family altar, this message offers hope, healing, and practical steps toward restoration.

🏡❤️ What if the greatest change your family needs isn't a new routine, a better schedule, or more time together—but simply putting Jesus back in His rightful place?

Today's devotion, Humble Altars, Holy Legacy, explores what happens when Christ becomes the True Head of our homes. Through Scripture, reflection, and a powerful story of restoration, we'll discover how surrendering to His leadership brings peace, unity, and purpose to our families.

I pray this encourages your heart and strengthens your home today.

If there is one relationship on earth that most beautifully reflects the heart of God, it is the covenant between a husband and wife. Long before the world knew division, competition, and isolation, God established oneness. He took two lives and joined them into one purpose, one vision, and one holy calling.

Yet oneness does not happen automatically. It is cultivated through humility, forgiveness, surrender, and a shared pursuit of Christ. The enemy knows the power that is released when a husband and wife walk in unity, when children witness genuine love, and when families gather around an altar of prayer. That is why he works so tirelessly to divide what God designed to be one.

Today, we invite you to pause and reflect on the sacred gift of unity. Whether your family is thriving, struggling, or somewhere in between, Jesus is able to restore, strengthen, and heal. The same Savior who prayed that we would be one still works miracles in marriages, homes, and generations today.

May this devotion encourage you to draw closer to one another, kneel together before the Lord, and discover the extraordinary power that is found in becoming One Flesh, One Altar.

There are seasons in motherhood when the laundry piles up, the dishes wait, the children need us, and our hearts quietly whisper, "Lord, I don't know if I can do this today."

The truth is, God never asked mothers to carry the weight of their families alone. He never intended for us to find our strength in perfection, comparison, or endless striving. Instead, He invites us to find our rest in Him.

This devotional touched my heart because it reminds us that the greatest gift a mother can give her family isn't a spotless home, a perfect schedule, or flawless parenting. It is a life surrendered to Jesus.

When a mother leans on God, something beautiful happens. Peace begins to replace pressure. Grace replaces guilt. Strength replaces exhaustion. And the entire family feels the difference.

Today, I invite you to take a few quiet moments, open your heart before the Lord, and allow Him to minister to the places where you may be carrying more than He ever intended you to bear.

May you be reminded today that your value is not found in all you do, but in whose you are.

Good morning, beautiful family 💛

Today we’re stepping into Day 4 of our June Devotion: Humble Altars, Holy Legacy.

This one is especially close to my heart.

Day 4 – Fatherhood in Righteousness – Turning Hearts Homeward

Many of us know the ache of father wounds — whether we experienced them or unknowingly carried them into our own homes. But today, the Lord is speaking restoration over every bloodline. He is turning hearts of fathers to their children and children to their fathers.

In this devotion, you’ll walk through a powerful, real-life moment of healing at the family altar — a moment where brokenness gave way to repentance, tears, and fresh beginnings.

If you’re a father, a son, a daughter, or someone who longs to see families made whole… this one is for you.

Good morning, friends.

As I reflect on today's devotion, I'm reminded that one of God's greatest gifts is the children He places in our lives. Whether they are biological, adopted, fostered, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, or spiritual sons and daughters, each one is a precious heritage entrusted to us by the Lord.

In a world that often views children as interruptions to our plans, God calls them a reward. He sees them as arrows—carefully crafted, intentionally sharpened, and destined to be released into the world for His glory.

Parenting is not always easy. There are seasons of joy, seasons of weariness, and moments when we wonder if our efforts are making a difference. Yet Scripture reminds us that God is at work even when we cannot see it. Every prayer whispered over a child, every Bible story shared, every act of grace, correction, and unconditional love becomes part of the legacy we leave behind.

Today, I invite you to pause and ask yourself: How am I helping shape the next generation? Am I intentionally pointing the children in my life toward Jesus?

No matter where your family story stands today, there is hope. Jesus is still restoring homes, healing relationships, and turning hearts back toward one another.
