The Teacher is responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team, creating lesson plans based on the provided curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Teachers must understand children’s cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. The Teacher must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults in order to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns.

This is actually Pastor Jeremy, the Lead Pastor of Good Shepherd UMC. Joy Cuningham, Little Lambs Board Chair, and Stefanie Morsey, our Children's MInister and new Religious Education Coordinator are both out of contact right now.

So I don't have access to the full list of parent emails but for those on this page, I wanted to share some great news with you that we have been working on for the last two months.

We are excited to announce that we have a new Director and she will be starting tomorrow July 6th. Attached is her welcome letter and I hope perhaps you know other parents you get it this out to after the holiday weekend which makes communicating this news harder.

Our newest little lamb, Lucy Mae Bumbalough is here. Weighing in at 6 lbs. 8 oz., she arrived a bit early last Thursday....

Little Lambs Early Learning Center will be closing early at 1:30 p.m. today, January 6th. Snow in the Hendersonville area began at 8:00 a.m. this morning and has continued to fall, which has led us to make the decision to close early for the safety of all families and staff. We had a blast with Mrs. Broccoli, Mrs. Carrot, Ms. Strawberry, and Mrs. Apple at our World Health Day presentation with our preschool classes this morning! They also went around to the younger classes to say "Happy World Health Day" to all our smaller kiddos. We appreciate the health department coming out and teaching us about healthy foods and how to keep our teeth healthy!
