Today my Pastor, Howard Devenport Sr., Shiloh Community Church in Houston, Texas received his wings. My heart is so heavy but glad he is in the presence of the Lord! For 36 years he was my pastor, mentor and friend. Thank you for taking me under your arms and treating like a blood son when I moved to Houston and your mentorship in my life all these years! I will miss our hour long talks. I know when you entered in He said, “My good and faithful servant!” I love you pastor!

It’s my Birthday Jan. 26! I thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for another year to live and experience this life! I give Him all the praise and glory for the success, failures, ups and downs that I have had along the way. All those things have help form me into His image. I’m not there yet, but He is still working on me to be more like Him! He has truly given me a blessed life. May the rest of my life be to His glory! Again, thank you Lord for your grace and mercy! PEACE ✌🏻
