Memory Makers Quilting Ministry
Memory Makers Quilt Group started in 2007 with the Ethiopian project of making quilts for orphans awaiting adoptive parents. In 2008, over 100 quilts were made by many women in the church and community who came together once a month on Saturday morning. Recently, they began meeting every Thursday evening at 6:30pm as well. They learn new techniques in quilting and enjoy great fellowship together. This past year quilts were made for the children of Broyhill Baptist Children's Home, the Pregnancy Center and the Storehouse. Twenty quilts were delivered to Mexico and this years project is to provide 135 quilts to the Kirov #1 Russian Orphanage. Many people all over the world are blessed by this ministry.
