📖 JOY Sunday School | This Week

The JOY Class will be led by John Elliott as we begin a new series on Biblical characters.

It’s fitting that we start with Stephen—the first follower of Jesus to be martyred for boldly sharing the good news of the Gospel. Through passages in Daniel and Acts 6–7, we’ll see a powerful example of what it means to live “Called,” one of our core values at Christ Methodist Church.

Come be encouraged and challenged by Stephen’s faith and courage—you’ll be glad you did!

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13

Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of the depth of courage, love, and selflessness.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we pause to give thanks for those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom — and pray for the families who carry their memory every day.
