‼️ BIG NEWS ‼️

Caden Watterson will be our new Student Ministry Director at CIL Church! 
 
For the last two years, Caden has been the Hendersonville Area Representative for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) but now feels called to church ministry. Caden grew up in Hendersonville, has been married to Hannah for over 18 months, and they are expecting their first child this fall!
 
Caden and Hannah are passionate about the presence of God and connecting teenagers to Jesus! Caden’s first day on staff will be Monday, June 15, as he goes to Fuge Camp with us! 

We know you’re going to love Caden & Hannah!We are so excited to see what Caden’s leadership will bring to CIL Youth and our entire church!

YESU ASHIMWE! Praise be to Jesus!

Our staff had an incredible Cultural Encounter in Nashville, receiving training and wisdom from Dani Mugisha, the African Specialist with NextWave Ministries.

After our training, we were welcomed into Pastor Joseph Rukesha’s home, hearing his testimony and enjoying a most delicious meal, cooked by his wife!

Throughout the day, we heard stories of loss, hope, God’s goodness, and deep reconciliation that can only come from Jesus! To form lasting relationships, we must not only celebrate together. We must learn to grieve together, as well.

We are thankful for the friendships we’ve made with our brothers and sisters in Christ through this ministry! YESU ASHIMWE!
