It is always easy for us to act in an ungodly way when it comes to disagreeing with people who are in authority over us. But, that is not the way God wants us to react. We can teach them the proper ways, the godly ways to respond to different situations. Here are some examples of situation you can use to get things rolling in this game.
1. Parent says, "Turn off the TV!"
2. Teacher gives extra homework.
3. Coach sits you on the bench.
4. Pastor says, "God wants us to forgive others."
5. Mom says, "No snack before Dinner."
6. Dad says, "Pick up the trash in the yard."
7. Bus Driver tells everyone to be quiet.
8. Teacher says, " Today we are going to play a get-to-know-you game."
And remember parents studies show that young children starting at age 3-13 that have developed loving relationships with their parents are less likely to have mental health issues during early childhood and adolescence. They tend to develop more socially desirable tendencies like kindness, empathy, helpfulness, generosity, and volunteering. So, lets help guide our children as they walk in their journey with Jesus.
Have a wonderful Wednesday.
