First Methodist Church of Henderson is blessed to announce that we will be having our 2026 Vacation Bible School throughout the month of July this summer! 🙌

VBS Wednesday night dates and times include:

July 8th 6:30pm - 7:30pm
July 15th 6:30pm - 7:30pm
July 22nd 6:30pm - 7:30pm
July 29th 6:30pm- 7:30pm

We will have a meal served each night starting at 5:45 pm.

We are inviting children and youth from 4 years old through upcoming 12th graders to attend.

Our Youth and children will be learning about the story of Noah from Answers in Genesis "Ocean Commotion." 🌈

We will also be having an ADULT class each Wednesday night led by our very own Bro. Keith Brown.

Please mark your calendars and plan for your entire family to join us during the month of July.

🌮 The women’s group knocked it out of the park tonight!

A big thank you to all the wonderful women who came together to prepare a delicious taco dinner, complete with a variety of Mexican-inspired dishes and desserts. The food was amazing, but the fellowship and time spent serving together made the evening even more special.

We are grateful for each of these ladies and the love they pour into our church family. ❤️

Daily Bible reading is essential to staying connected to God and understanding His plan for our daily lives. 📖

Romans 12:2 states “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is — His good, pleasing and perfect will.”

How best do you read the scriptures daily?

It could be a quiet place before the sun comes up with God’s creation. ☀️
It could be listening and following along before going to sleep at night. ✨
