Our series through the book of James has helped correct our thinking in many different areas! We’ve talked about how to navigate trials, handle anger, and not show partiality in the Christian life. These messages aren’t just for us. They are helping us to lead our kids, grandkids, and the children in our church family to be obedient to God in the face of adversity. Our example is their template. As we follow God, we lay the foundation for the faithfulness of future generations!
This weekend, we will explore one of the most prominent aspects of the book of James: the relationship between faith and works. The Bible is clear that we are saved by faith as a gift from God. However, James seems to make it clear that faith without works is useless, even dead. What is going on here, and what does it mean for our lives today? We’ll answer this question and more as we continue our study of the book of James this weekend!
What evidence of salvation is there in your life? Are you trusting in God, or in your own power to secure your eternity? Are you saved? Join us for worship this weekend and invite a friend to sit with you!
