Last weekend’s message helped give us an overview of the book of Ephesians. Much like the structure of a house, Paul’s letter provides both the framework and the furnishings of the Christian life. By following Paul’s instructions, we not only learn more about God, but also about what church ought to look like.

This weekend, we will be taking a look at the opening of Paul’s letter. He begins with several verses of praising God, packed with rich doctrine, especially regarding worship. What we say to and about God matters. Worship is much bigger than just a style of music or a time in service. What does it mean, and how does it affect our lives during and outside of service? Let’s find out together.

God is on the move at Clearview — four more baptisms this morning, another reminder that He is still drawing people to Himself. We also celebrated communion together, and the Ministry Drive will be back next weekend for anyone still looking for a place to serve.

In the message, we opened a new stretch of our Ephesians series with a simple but important reminder — the Bible isn't just Paul's letter to a first-century church. It's God's mail to us.
