Hermon Community Church

Hermon Community Church In the year 1858, three ladies , Hunter Kittrell, Rebecca Cheatham and Mrs. Fuller started and continued to help in the organization of Hermon Church.

The first pastor was the Reverend Gannon who served 1858 to 1866.

Join us for a powerful evening of community outreach, education, and support during the free screening of “What I Wish My Parents Knew.”

This important event will focus on teen su***de awareness, mental well-being, and creating safe spaces for our youth to be heard, supported, and understood.

No family should feel alone in the fight for mental wellness.

Here are some shots from the American Legion Post 60 of Henderson NC and the 126 that gave everything for us. I also want to thank the City of Henderson for the wonderful Displays of our Fallen neighbors and friends that made our today possible.

We honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

As our church is beautifully decorated for Memorial Day, may every flag, flower, and display serve as a reminder of the sacrifice, courage, and love shown by those who defended our freedoms.

We are grateful for the opportunity to gather in worship, reflect in gratitude, and pray for the families of our fallen heroes. May we never forget the cost of freedom and may God continue to bless our nation.
