Jesus Calls World Outreach Ministries International is strengthening our local ministry community while continuing to expand our global reach.

We are looking for people who love Jesus Christ, value Scripture, believe in prayer, and are willing to serve faithfully.

This is not a call for titles or visibility. It is an invitation to help build.

There is work to do in prayer, discipleship, children’s ministry, women’s ministry, outreach, worship, media, hospitality, administration, and other areas of service.

Some are called to teach.
Some are called to pray.
Some are called to organize.
Some are called to serve families.
Some are called to create.
Some are called to work faithfully behind the scenes.

Every gift matters when it is offered to God in service.

Leadership is not first about visibility, position, or recognition. It is about stewardship.

God entrusts people, assignments, opportunities, resources, and seasons into our care. The question is not simply what we are able to build, but how faithfully we handle what He has placed in our hands.

Faithful leadership requires prayer when no one is watching, wisdom when decisions are difficult, accountability when responsibility is heavy, and a willingness to serve even when service receives no applause.

WHEN GOD CHANGES THE SEASON

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”
— Ecclesiastes 3:1 KJV

Some seasons arrive with excitement. Others arrive through retirement, parenthood, loss, ministry transitions, changing relationships, or circumstances we did not choose.

The challenge is not merely recognizing that the season has changed. It is discerning what faithfulness looks like now.

God does not waste seasons. The same God who was present in what was is already present in what is becoming.

At Jesus Calls World Outreach Ministries International, we believe every season can become a place of purpose, growth, and grace when it is surrendered to God.

THE BIBLE REVISITED™ | THE REST OF THE STORY

TOUCH NOT MY ANOINTED — DOES ANOINTING MEAN NO ACCOUNTABILITY?

Psalm 105:15

“Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.”
— Psalm 105:15, KJV

You have probably heard this verse quoted when a spiritual leader is questioned.

A pastor is challenged.

A ministry decision is examined.

Someone says they were hurt.

A concern is raised.

And the response comes:

“Be careful. Touch not God’s anointed.”

It sounds serious.

It sounds biblical.

And sometimes it ends the conversation.

But is that what Psalm 105:15 is actually saying?

Psalm 105 is not introducing a special class of spiritual leaders who can never be questioned, corrected, or held accountable.

The psalm is recounting God’s covenant faithfulness in Israel’s history.

It looks back to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

It remembers a time when they were few in number, strangers in the land, and moving from nation to nation and from one kingdom to another.

Then the psalm says that God did not allow others to oppress them and that He rebuked kings for their sake:

“Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.”

That context matters.

The passage is about God protecting His covenant people from harm.

But over time, this verse has sometimes been used very differently.

Instead of protecting people from harm, it can become a shield around authority.

It can be used to shut down constructive criticism.

To discourage legitimate questions.

To silence someone who says they have been wounded.

To make accountability sound like rebellion.

And that raises an important biblical question:

Does anointing mean no accountability?

Scripture itself gives us a complicated answer.

David refused to kill Saul because Saul was the LORD’s anointed.

But David still confronted Saul.

He still spoke about what Saul was doing to him.

He still appealed for justice.

Honor did not require silence.

And later, when David himself became the anointed king and committed serious wrongdoing, God sent Nathan directly to confront him.

Nathan did not say:

“He is anointed. I cannot speak.”

He said:

“Thou art the man.”

That changes the conversation.

Because Scripture shows us that a person can be called by God and still require correction.

A person can hold spiritual authority and still be accountable for how that authority is used.

Biblical honor does not eliminate biblical accountability.

And respect for leadership does not require someone who has been harmed to pretend that nothing happened.

That does not mean every accusation is true.

It does not mean slander is acceptable.

It does not mean spiritual leaders should be attacked casually or maliciously.

Scripture also warns against false witness, reckless accusations, division, and dishonor.

But there is a profound difference between an attack and accountability.

Between slander and speaking truthfully about harm.

Between dishonor and asking whether someone's actions align with Scripture.

Sometimes we weaken the Bible by taking one sentence out of its history and turning it into a rule the original passage was never addressing.

Psalm 105:15 deserves more than a soundbite.

So do the people who have been told to remain silent because someone else carries a title.

The question is not whether we should honor spiritual leadership.

We should.

The deeper question is:

What does biblical honor actually require—and what does it never require us to ignore?

That is where the investigation begins.

That is the rest of the story.

Stop settling for the soundbite.

LITTLE WORSHIPPERS | A WORD TO PARENTS 💜

CHILDREN ARE LISTENING LONG BEFORE WE REALIZE IT.

“Teach them diligently unto thy children…”
— Deuteronomy 6:7

Children learn faith in ways that are often quieter than we expect.

They notice when you pray.

They notice when you forgive.

They notice how you speak about people when no one else is listening.

They notice whether Scripture is something we only carry to church—or something that actually shapes the way we live.

Long before a child understands theology, they are learning what faith looks like.

That is why ministering to children cannot be reduced to keeping them entertained until the adults are finished with worship.

Children deserve more than that.

They deserve to know that God sees them.

That prayer belongs to them too.

That Scripture is not only for grown-ups.

That they can worship, ask questions, trust God, and begin developing a real relationship with Him right where they are.

Parents, grandparents, guardians, teachers, and ministry leaders—some of the most important spiritual moments in a child’s life will never happen behind a pulpit.

They may happen:

at the breakfast table.
in the car.
before bedtime.
after a difficult day at school.
during a moment of fear.
when they ask a question you did not expect.

Sometimes ministry looks like stopping what you are doing and saying:

“Let’s pray about that together.”

Sometimes it is opening the Bible and letting them ask every question they have.

Sometimes it is simply allowing them to see you trust God when life does not go according to plan.

We do not have to wait until children are older to introduce them to a deep and meaningful faith.

We can give them roots now.

Teach them to pray.
Teach them to worship.
Teach them the Word.
Teach them that God is near.

And above all, let them see a faith worth carrying into adulthood.

Because a little worshipper today can become a deeply rooted believer tomorrow.

THE BIBLE REVISITED™ | THE REST OF THE STORY

DEUTERONOMY 31:8 — GOD GOES BEFORE YOU

“And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.”
— Deuteronomy 31:8, KJV

You have probably seen this verse placed over a beautiful background.

It is encouraging.

But encouragement is only part of the story.

Moses is standing near the end of his life.

He has led Israel through wilderness, rebellion, judgment, provision, uncertainty, and loss. Now he knows that he will not cross the Jordan with them.

Joshua will.

And Joshua is not being handed an easy assignment.

He is being called to lead a people who have spent a generation wandering into territory occupied by established peoples, fortified cities, hostile forces, and communities prepared to defend the land they inhabit.

So when Moses tells Joshua:

“Fear not, neither be dismayed,”

this is not a motivational slogan.

It is not a promise that Joshua will never experience fear, opposition, uncertainty, or loss.

It is a word spoken to a leader standing on the threshold of an enormous assignment.

And the foundation of that word is this:

“The LORD… doth go before thee.”

God does not tell Joshua that there will be no battle.

He tells Joshua that he will not enter the battle alone.

That changes the verse.

The promise is not:

Everything will be easy.

The promise is:

God goes before you.
God will be with you.
God will not fail you.
God will not forsake you.

Sometimes we weaken Scripture by removing it from its history.

We take one sentence, detach it from the people, place, conflict, culture, and circumstances surrounding it, and reduce it to something that can fit neatly on a graphic.

But Scripture was not written as a collection of inspirational captions.

These words were spoken to real people.

In real places.

During real moments of fear, transition, conflict, and uncertainty.

And when we recover that context, the text does not become less encouraging.

It becomes more powerful.

Deuteronomy 31:8 is not promising a life without difficult places.

It is declaring the presence of God in the middle of them.

There are seasons when obedience leads directly into unfamiliar territory.

There are assignments larger than our own strength.

There are moments when the person who carried us through one season cannot accompany us into the next.

There are times when courage does not mean the absence of fear.

It means continuing forward because we trust the One who has already gone before us.

That is the rest of the story.
