Before we know it, September will be here and we will begin a new season of Bible studies!

-Sunday School and Adult Bible study begin on September 13. The children will begin in worship at 9:30 am and be dismissed to their classes after the
"Good News for Kids" part of the service.

- The Adult Bible study will follow the service at
11 am. This year will begin with all ages reviewing the same Bible history lessons. God's blessings as you study as a family!

- THURSDAY Bible Class: The Wednesday Bible classes are being moved to Thursdays this year. This will avoid many more conflicts and allow us to meet more consistently.

The class is offered at 10 am and again at 7 pm, beginning on Thursday, September 10.

This year we'll start by reviewing the basics of other religions around us. We'll also be studying Psalm 119 and the book of Revelation. Stay tuned to the weekly updates as we work through the year!

- Prayer Circle: Prayer Circle meets on the first Monday of the month at 6 pm. We review specific prayer requests we've received, as well as pray for those whom we know have special challenges or joys in their lives.

Catechism Class is for our students in grades 7 and 8. This two year course works through Luther's Small Catechism to teach them the foundation of our faith as revealed in the Bible. At the end of the second year, Confirmation takes place on Palm
Sunday. Classes run on Tuesdays from 3:30-5:30pm in the fellowship hall, beginning on September 8.

Bible Information Class (BIC): This is an adult version of the Catechism class for those who are interested in learning about Green Valley and membership in our congregation. The course runs 10-15 weeks and includes the Orientation classes for parents new to our school. We meet on Tuesdays at 5:30 pm in the fellowship hall, beginning September 8.

Other classes?? There might be! Grief support, marriage enrichment, teen group. . .All these ideas are being considered, so talk to Pastor if any of these interest you. Keep an eye on the weekly updates to see if or when other opportunities may be
offered.

Our team has worked diligently to create and provide the new Livestream service to expand our ability to connect with worshippers who are unable to join in person. We are excited to present this to you directly on our website!
