Brothers and Sisters of the Green Valley Stake-
The FamilySearch Center (501 S. Ninth Street) has recently completed a significant remodel, both internally and externally, and under the direction of the Area Presidency, an Open House of the facility will be held on Saturday, October 14th from 10:00am till 6:00pm, and on Sunday, October 15th, from 10:00am till 4:00pm, at the Center. This Open House that will be held at the Center is for members, friends, neighbors, and community leaders. We invite and encourage you to attend.

The Center has been transformed into a Discovery Center with many new features and tools to assist in our responsibilities and privileges to Gather Israel. We are certain that the Center will be a gathering place for all people, and that our entire community will be blessed by the spirit of Elijah that resides there. This will also be an initial opportunity for us to preview to the community as we welcome the addition of another House of the Lord to Las Vegas in the coming years.

Please make every effort to attend the Open House. The Lord is hastening His work; how blessed we are to be part of this time and season.

When I visited Israel several years ago, I was able to visit the garden tomb. They allow each visitor a quick minute alone inside. As I turned to leave, inside the door, there is a sign, “He is not here.” I’m so grateful for that Easter morning. For forgiveness, mercy and His ever-enduring love. As a parent, I truly cannot imagine the love our Fatger has for us, in giving us his Only Begotten.
